It felt so good to read about Damien and Phoebe again. I missed them so much! This book picked up right where Babydoll left off and it felt like I was pulled into the storyline immediately. The writing made me feel like I was part of the characters and even though it is a 500+ pages book, it didn’t feel like it. I really liked how the love story of Damien and Phoebe developed and I loooooved the spicy scenes. Sooo good! I would recommend this book to everyone who likes rockstar romance, lots of good spice, a golden retriever book boyfriend (even though I think he wouldn’t really admit that he was one) and a really cool book girlfriend.
WHERE TO BEGIN. I vow to keep this spoiler free. If I can describe our MCs with one word it would be passionate. They have such a passionate love for one another that it makes you believe in that kind of love. Their connection is so incredibly genuine. You instantly want to root for them from page one. Now, the SPICE? THE SPICE. Without spoiling, I was left SPEECHLESS after a certain scene. 🤭 I’ve loved these two characters for so long that saying goodbye was so bittersweet. I was a mess last night.
Now I can’t go on without talking about our supporting characters. Johnny & Erin, perfection. Johnny is so cute, it’s sickening. Ophelia, Shaun, & Janis are so wonderful and mostly the voice of reason. Troy, our overly stressed manager, made me cackle more times than I can count. If you take anything from this entire (probably too long) review is that you need to read this book. And Babydoll, as they are duets. 🖤
📝 Phoebe Miller My Pheebs. There are so many beautiful aspects about her. Her resilience is so inspiring. And she’s so incredibly relatable. I found so much comfort in her. Witnessing her personal growth was so so special. I am forever rooting for her. 🫶🏻 And why lie, I fell in love with this woman. SHE’S HOT, OKAY?
🎤 Damien Bell My maaaaan. The love he has for Phoebe is so moving. This man made me cry on MULTIPLE occasions because of it. This menace had me cracking up. He’s so fucking funny. Now, the mouth of this man?! This man right here? Hot as hell. He’s such a beautiful mix of being ridiculously hot but so gentle. It’s impossible not to fall in love with him.
Tropes: 🖤 Opposites attract 🖤 Found family 🖤 Positive kink representation 🖤 Rockstar x journalist 🖤 Dual pov 🖤 Queer representation 🖤 Polyamorous representation 🖤 Toxic families 🖤 Dealing with fame 🖤 Open door spice
I was SUPER excited to get back into this world. I missed them all! It’s bittersweet though to have to say goodbye to characters I’ve really grown to love but that’s what rereads are for right?
Thea never misses with her books, she knows how to pull me in and keep me there. The writing is always so inviting and engaging.
Aside from Phoebe and Damien. Erin is my absolute fave. I loved getting more of her and also more of Janis!
I love a book that focuses on characters other than the two main characters it really brings the story to life!
Im always excited for Thea’s next moves and her next books are sounding amazing and can’t wait to read them.
Dollhouse is the second book of the Revolver Duet, that gets back into the tantalizing world of rockstar x journalist romance. Set against the backdrop of the pulsating music scene, Thea’s narration navigates the intricate dance between a charismatic rockstar and a determined journalist, infusing it with an undeniable energy and a lot of spice.
First of all I was WAITING for this book!! I loved Babydoll I couldn't wait to dive back into the story, the characters and the romance.
The chemistry and the spice between Damien and Phoebe is on a whole other level compared to anything I’ve read before. They are so supportive of each other and I really loved their character development which adds an alluring layer to the narrative. Theas's vivid storytelling and character dynamics kept me hooked from beginning to end, delivering an enjoyable experience and a great ending of this duet.
“In a sea of chaos and confusion, she found her home in him.”
Also I would love to thank Thea for this amazing opportunity and I can’t wait to read her following books!
Read if you like these tropes: (check TW before reading)
•Dealing with fame •Rockstar x journalist •Open door •Dual POV •Queer representation •Polyamorous representation (side characters) •Kink representation •Dom/sub sexual relationship •Switch FMC and MMC
I adored this book. It was the perfect conclusion to the Revolver Duet and the sweetest ending to one of my favorite couples ever. It was so interesting to see the progression of the characters as time went on, how Phoebe and Damien both grew individually and together. It was definitely bittersweet though because I'm sad to say bye to these characters. But I guess that means I'll just have to do a reread soon <3
I loved seeing Phoebe's growth in this book. She evolved with her confidence and her work and her trust in herself. I feel like we saw a lot of big things happen for her and it was so amazing. She's also one of the most relatable characters ever for me. I totally relate to her stress with her writing process and it was really cool to see the continuation of her working on the article within this book.
Damien is still one of my favorite book boyfriends ever. I feel like in this book, we saw a lot more of his vulnerable and human side. In the first book, so much of it focused on how others perceived him and really cracking the rockstar persona. But in this book, we see his struggles and his insecurities too. Seeing every part of Damien made me love him even more. Plus he's still super hot and hilarious.
Phoebe and Damien are an amazing couple. I loved seeing big things happen for both of them in this book and how they supported each other wholeheartedly.
Another one of my favorite things about this book was that we got to see the band again!! The friendship and dynamic between them was so sweet and I love how close they are. They are like a little family and it was great to see them support each other through everything that happened in this book. We also got to meet some new characters and I loved them just as much as the ones from the first book.
If you are looking for a rockstar romance with frenemies to lovers, a secret relationship, and found family vibes then you should definitely check out the Revolver Duet (this was the beautiful second book, go read Babydoll first if you haven't!!!).
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* quotes that made me melt *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
"I don't know when you became my whole world," he whispers. "But I can't imagine my life without you."
"If I had to do this all over again, I'd do it the exact same way. You're my entire universe. Every time I look up at the stars, all I see is you."
"You don't have to do anything on your own anymore, babydoll."
"No matter what happens in our lives, no matter what amazing things happen to us next, it's always gonna be you, babydoll."
I don’t give out 5 stars lightly on this app, because I genuinely think that real feedback is the only way for authors to know what to improve on. I can say without a doubt that this book delivered on every aspect in my eyes. It was a fun read that I finished in two sittings, less than 24 hours and it’s 560 pages. It was compelling and the characters leap off the page. The individual relationships are amazing, the banter is hilarious, and the thing I love the most is how deeply emotional Damien Bell’s character is. So many authors have this two dimensional man who is stoic 100% of the time, and while I love that in some instances there’s just something so captivating about a man that feels so much so deeply. The family dynamics in this book were explored beautifully, and the scene between Damien and his dad made me choke up. Thea, everything you write turns to gold. I’m thankful for being chosen as an ARC reader for this book, and even more thankful that you sent out those copies for HONEST reviews. I was fully coming into this expecting to have some sort of critique but I genuinely felt so wrapped up in this book it’s almost like I was experiencing the whirl wind romance myself
This book, THIS BOOK! Thea poured so much heart and soul into these pages! It's a time capsule stuffed full of pop culture, music, sex, and romance. Damien and Phoebe are magnetic, they pull you in and you never want to leave.
I enjoyed the delicate care that Thea took when writing Pheobe's struggle to get the article just right because mood. From beginning to end it felt like a struggle I could relate to and it made me love Pheobe even more. (Which I didn't think was possible after she punched Chris)
This is the sequel of all sequels and it was wrapped up in the prettiest package! I'm so grateful to have received an ARC copy, waiting would have done me in!
"No matter what happens in our lives, no matter what amazing things happen to us next. It's always gonna be you, babydoll."

Wow. Where to begin. Damien and Phoebe have enthralled me once again. When you spend time apart from a story sometimes you lose the connection to it, with Dollhouse it was not the case I was immediately back with the rowdy bunch that is Revolver. I loved this book and I’m in awe of Thea’s writing it feels like a movie playing in my head.
Yes. Yes. Yes. This is absolutely what I needed. The emotions this book gave me (especially the engagement and the wedding) I absolutely loved it. It's definitely the ending Damien and Phoebe deserve ♡♡♡

This was supposed to be an ARC review. But i’m an extremely slow reader. I’m just now getting back into reading after years. So it took me a while.
I loved this conclusion to the Revolver Duet. I love the love between Damien and Phoebe. I love how we get to see Damien’s more vulnerable side in this book. And the spice!! Oh the spice!!
My dearest Phoebe and Damien…For real, if I could write a letter to them it would look something like this: Thank you Phoebe for SEEING Damien as the man he always deserves to be seen as. A man with the purest heart that just never stops to pour out every single ounce of beauty. To encourage and protect him because he will always go through any storm to care for and keep you safe. And Damien, for making Phoebe believing in herself and always thrive for what makes her happy, to be proud of herself and reveal your deepest emotions to ensure you’ll always be just a squeeze of a hand away.
A PAUSE FOR THE TEARS. And of course, Thank YOU Thea! How will I collect myself now?! What will I do after them 😭
Yes, I’ve missed them so much since reading Babydoll and I was all over the place when I finally got this in my hands! Thea has a way of bringing her characters to life, like I’ve been knowing them for ages and they become so personal to me. That goes to the main as well as side characters! This kind of connection is everything and it makes me inhale very single detail. Thea really knows how to work with the descriptions and whole world building to draw you in. I just keep on eating it up 👏🏼
The relationship between Damien and Phoebe gets so much deeper here. When I thought I couldn’t love them more, they simply delivered 110% in this book. Stormy and wild with so much chemistry and passion along the way. With the challenges and obstacles facing them on the road, their work, and going public, their relationship only strengthens with not only their own support for each other, but from the whole band that’s considered as a big lovely family! The banter with them ALWAYS makes me shine up like a dang sun 😭😂
Thank you again Thea for their story and for giving me the opportunity to be an arc reader for Dollhouse 🤍 so excited for the future for you!
First off, if you haven't read Babydoll, you won't understand this book (so go...read it). HOWEVER, if you HAVE read Babydoll, you will love this!! How to do this without spoilers...hmmm... by the end of the book, you're going to want to buy Revolver's album, find Phoebe's magazine articles, and buy all the band merch. Then you're going to remember that this is fiction and be sad. Then you're going to remember that this is fiction, and you can relive it over and over because books are magical, and Thea's writing is brilliant.
I thought Damien was fantastic in book one, and now, we get to dive deeper into him in this book. We learn a bit about what makes him tick, and I will forever be obsessed with him. He's one of those guys that you're not sure if you want to hug him or smack him, but know he'd enjoy either.
Phoebe's struggles and how hard she has to fight are so relatable; women are still going through this!! Watching her grow was tear-jerking at times and heart-warming at others.
The band? Troy? Janice? They're all so real as characters and come to life while I'm reading. Liam is a brilliant addition to it all.
This was the perfect way to end this duet, but oh my god, I will miss these characters. I can only hope that these books take off and Thea is moved to give us more Revolver.
This was supposed to be an arc review but it turns out I am an extremely slow reader, something I am learning on my journey into reading again. But this book- this book made me want to continue said reading journey.
I've been struggling to read for a long time, and after rereading Babydoll (the first book in the Revolver duet) I was prepared- or so I thought. Thea took my expectations and exceeded them, soaring above them, with lines like, "She's his constant. His home." and "Anywhere you lead, I'm right behind you." and "Saying I love you never feels like enough when it comes to her." and "...And coming from someone who does everything wrong, you know it's the truth."
I found I identified more and more with Damien in this book and that spurred me on to keep going, to pursue what I wanted despite the fear, despite the doubt, despite the obstacles in my way. Knowing I had a little bit of rockstar Damien in me gave me my courage and rebelliousness back.
And I can't forget to mention the spice in this because PHEW! I can't comment all my thoughts because then this will be taken down but safe to say, again, my expectations were EXCEEDED.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “No matter what happens in our lives, no matter what amazing things happen to us next. It’s always gonna be you, babydoll.” Dollhouse is Book 2 in The Revolver Duet. What can I say about Dollhouse that hasn’t already been said? This book was everything. Damien Bell and Phoebe Miller are forever imprinted in my brain. Their chemistry, their love, their passion, their connection. I loved every single bit of this, and somehow loved it even more than I loved Babydoll. Keeping this as spoiler free as possible, it was the best way to end their story. They grew so much individually and as a couple in this book!
If you’re into 80s rockstar aesthetic, found family, spice, balancing hardships, opposites attract, and lots of great representation throughout multiple categories (queer, poly, positive kink) then this book is for you! Go read Babydoll now if you haven’t yet, and then jump right into Dollhouse. You won’t be disappointed, I promise. These must be read in order to understand.
I liked Babydoll (book #1 in the Revolver Duet) a lot, and I liked Dollhouse (book #2) even more! Everything about this book is "more"! Damien is even more... well... Damien. He truly is the perfect mix of naughty and sweet. I'm telling you: he is going to make you smile, gasp, tear up, and melt until he completely conquers you (warning: it will probably take him 5 minutes or less to conquer you). Phoebe is more confident, and more powerful. She knows exactly what she wants and she doesn't let anything or anyone stop her! Together, Damien and Phoebe are even more on fire! I loved every single tender moment between them just as much as I loved the (many and quite captivating) spicy scenes. So, I think the Revolver Duet is the perfect book for readers who like fun, sweet, sexy, and spicy 80's rockstar romances. I definitely reccomend it!
I received an advance review copy of this book and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.
When reading this book I didn’t know whether to devour it or savour it because I just love the characters and their story so much.
I adored everything about this book. From the heat and passion between Damien & Phoebe to the chaos and banter between the band and Troy.
I love how Damien goes all in when it comes to Phoebe and showing his love for her. My heart can’t cope with these two ❤️
I loved how both of them stuck up for each other and their relationship, not letting anybody’s negativity affect them!
It was so lovely to see more of the other characters and get to know more about them.
Getting to know these characters has been an absolute honour. I think these guys are going to stick with me for a long time. They’ve been such a comfort to me - thank you thea! ❤️
LOVE THIIIIIIS. Did you like Damien in the first book? Sure ya did. But, I mean, not in comparison to when you FALL MADLY AND COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH HIM IN THIS BOOK 🫠🫠 I mean, a supportive, cinnamon roll, completely obsessed MMC that is also somehow simultaneously a badass, 80’s rocker, with one insanely sexy kinky side? YEAH, OK! And Phoebe?! I loved her fire, tenacity, and willingness to really fight for what she wants. I could not love them together more. The 🌶️ in this book is seriously incredible, and intense. Just 🥵🌶️🔥 And it really blends and mixes with the unputdownable story line, that has you just screaming for Phoebe and Damien. And really, it will have you screaming for all the characters in this book. This is such a great and fulfilling way to end this duet. Loved it loved it loved it.
i really enjoyed this book! dollhouse is the second book in the revolver duet and it’s just as amazing as the first one. if you haven’t read babydoll yet this book won’t make any sense since dollhouse picks up right where babydoll left off.
i adored both main characters so much and i loved how realistic their relationship was. all the banter was simply hilarious and i adored how they kept growing both emotionally and talent wise throughout the book.
this was the kind of book that just gets you hooked right from the beginning, i couldn’t put it down. i definitely would recommend this duet to anyone that is looking for a refreshing romance book with open door spice. (i do recommend reading the trigger warning first though)
Wow wow wow… I don’t think I have enough words to describe how much I adored this book.
If you thought it couldn’t get better from Babydoll then you are wrong this book had everything possible you could want in a dramatic yet spicy romance book. I love a bit of drama and lord this had it!
I’m so glad that even though this story was about Phoebe and Damien that every character had their moments within each chapter. And Phoebe’s brotherrrr I need more of that protectiveness.
I can’t believe the book is over I could read this over and over but be warned this book is very spicy!! But you won’t regret diving head first into this book.
Thank you so so much Thea for allowing me to review your book 🤍
I kept expecting to read about some angst and/or fight that ended in time apart for this couple, because that’s what usually happens. I was pleasantly surprised that the author broke from that tradition and sparked her own way. Told from both POV, it’s a story about love and growth. The relationship between the main characters is intense and beautiful. The author does an excellent job of describing it with a heavy dose of spice that made this duet one of my favorite reads this year. Rockstars is a favorite genre of mine, even though it usually is also contemporary.
The secondary characters are rich and just as raw as the others. The artwork for the covers is also inspired. I hope to read more from this author!
I love Phoebe and Damien. 4/5🌶️. Im so sad their story is over. This duet makes them come to life and I feel like they are old friends. This was an e-ARC from the author. I watched them become stronger in their relationship. They meet each others families and discover the toxicity of hers. They promote revolver's (his band) new album and they attend award shows all while removing haters and growing up in the process. Through it all they remain strong together and with their found family. I recommend all to read this duet. Check your trigger warnings at the beginning of both books. I am jealous of those reading their story for the first time.
As a fan of the first book, I was eagerly anticipating the continuation of Phoebe and Damien's story, and I was not disappointed. I found myself staying up late just to continue reading. Phoebe and Damien's love has its fair share of obstacles and challenges, making it authentic. Their chemistry is off the charts and their interactions are filled with passion and emotion. This is a fantastic conclusion to the Revolver Duet. I highly recommend not just this book but the first one in the duet to anyone looking for a steamy love story with a touch of rock and roll.
“in a sea of chaos and confusion, she found her home in him.”
wowowow this is one book that i was sad to finish. 😭 i loved everything about phoebe and damien. their love, the way they communicate, just everything!
the way phoebe stood up to her mom had me on the edge of my seat. i related to pheebs in this way, because i also have overbearing parents.
the ending was absolutely amazing and i’m so happy for damien and the band! they got everything they deserved!
thank you so much to the author for the arc of this book! This duet has been so fun to read and I don’t think I’ll ever forget the story, characters and all the emotional rollercoasters! I loveeeedddd this so so much, the spice was *perfect*. I had the best time reading about Phoebe and Damien and the whole revolver group! I love these characters with all my heart and I’m so excited for what’s next to come from this author 🫶🏻🥳
Thank you for the arc copy. This book was so good. The mmc Damien were do I begin ,I adore him so much. He’s the lead singer in the band revolver, so sweet, yet brooding personality.then we have mfc, phoebe. Who a journalist at the titanium, smart funny, know what she wants. Must cheap who is phoebe’s brother I loved him and how supportive he was to her. The chemistry between Damien and phoebe is so intense, I loved it
Thea never ceases to amaze me. Her ability to write characters with such connection is beautiful. Phoebe and Damiens relationship is something I will always admire. Without any spoilers their trust and found family always tugs at my heart strings. Well done Thea!! Thank you for trusting me with an ARC. I'm so proud to have seen this book come from a AMAZING WATT-PAD read. To an unbelievable book. This series is worth a read.
What do I say? The story of Damien and Pheobe is one for the ages! You fall in love with them a little more with every chapter.
They're funny, witty, soft and sweet while being unhinged and hot AF!! I cried with them. Laughed with them. And the entire band is the best support system anyone could ever have ❤️❤️❤️
I'm incredibly honoured to have had the opportunity to read this duet and so proud of Thea ❤️👏🏻
This book was such an amazing balance of hot and sweet. Damien is dream book boyfriend material and I couldn't get enough of how much he adored Phoebe. I enjoyed how it was pretty low angst and that the story focused on Damien and Phoebe's growing relationship without adding drama just for the sake of it. I loved their learning and experience with the BDSM and kink world and thought these scenes were written fantastically. An absolutely fantastic rockstar romance 🥰
