But when the lead planner falls ill and transfers responsibilities to Faith, it’s clear that prepping for the event won’t be a cakewalk. With just weeks left, a significant hiccup the crucial special event permit is missing. And the new firefighter assigned to perform the inspection, Mitchell Abernathy, proves to be less than cooperative.Mitch, a recent transplant to Snowdrift Summit, arrives from another fire department after a tragic accident leaves him grappling with guilt. Transitioning to his new role, he finds himself on inspection duty, a job he isn’t particularly fond of. He is, however, quite fond of Faith Porter, even as she grows increasingly exasperated with his strict adherence to rules and regulations.Just as Mitch is on the verge of signing off for the permit, disaster strikes Snowdrift, forcing widespread evacuations. The community center, originally slated as the venue for the Sweetheart Soirée, now serves as a shelter for those displaced by the emergency. With no option but to set their differences aside, Mitch and Faith must unite to meet the needs of their community in the time of crisis. Will they find that amidst chaos and disrupted plans, they’re capable of kindling an unexpected love? Or will the weight of their pasts extinguish their chance at sweet romance?
This is a clean romance. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone.
Faith has lived in Snowdrift all her life. She takes over the bakery when her father passes and has been trying to live up to his reputation. Mitch, a firefighter, has recently moved to town, and is a stickler for rules. Though their first meeting didn't go well, they still find an attraction for each other. Can they get past everything to make a relationship work?
The characters are cute and who doesn't love a hunky fireman? Some of the items Faith creates makes me wish I had to recipes. I love the small town atmosphere and the supporting characters are fun as well. I've really enjoyed this series and can't wait for the next book.

This was a such a sweet story about loss and fear of failure and a sweet love story.
Faith is a local baker in Snowdrift Summit who is following in her father's footsteps. She is mostly happy with her life but doesn't have a special someone. She hasn't been interested in quite a while but maybe she would like to make some changes.
Mitch is a firefighter who made a decision that had devastating consequences and feels like his decision made his less reliable and he is fearful of breaking or bending any rules.
When these two collide, there are sparks of the best kind. Will they both be willing to take a chance that there might be something wonderful in the end?
This story is a clean story with a romantic, happy ending.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
Snowdrift is a sweet cozy community where family and being a good neighbor are top priority. We have a sweet baker and new firefighter that prove it many times over. Faith overcomes many challenges in the course of the book and conquers each one, including some last minute important duties. Mitch settles in nicely to his new community and station house, but it’s Faith that keeps him in Snowdrift. The whole series takes place in the same town but are not connected, maybe a few cameos of previous couples. It’s easy to enjoy the series, perfect for everyone old and young. I read an early copy and provided my review voluntarily.
Absolutely loved Faith & Mitch's story. Heartwarming and entertaining. Faith, a second-generation baker and Mitch, a new to Snowdrift Summit fireman, meet under stressful circumstances. Mitch is a by the book and makes sure Faith knows she has some violations on their first meet.
Will Faith and Mitch become friends? You will have to read the book to find out. Even though this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone.
The author does an excellent job keeping your attention to the story and you don't want to see it end. The characters are wonderful and well thought out. A clean romance that I couldn't put down.
This was a very entertaining and sweet page turner. Loved the storyline with so much going on. It was quite an adventure. Snowdrift is a wonderful place/setting with so many awesome characters. Mitch and Faith had such heartwarming chemistry and great banter between each other. Who doesn't love a baker and a fireman?! I also loved the beautiful cover! I really loved everything about this book. What a great series!

I really enjoyed reading this story, it was very heartwarming. The two main characters, Faith and Mitch, getting to know each with reserved but witty banter then endearing moments, were both well written. I appreciated their relationship developing without any long misunderstandings or lies. I look forward to more of this author's stories set in Snowdrift Summit.

This is a dual pov, clean romance. It is part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone novel. I loved that we got Faith’s story. She has a heart of gold and truly is upholding her fathers legacy. Mitch is a real stickler but I feel like the more time he spends with Faith, she begins to smooth out his sharp points. I loved the feeling of the small town and that we got Josephine in her meddling ways again. I also loved that Anthony’s article was included in the story.
Sweetheart Season is a delight read. It can be read as a stand alone but there are references to characters from other books in this series. faith and Mitch Clash over details for the fundraising event until a disaster means they have to start pulling together. Good characters and a great storyline make this a delightful, sweet, small town book. It is an easy read, comfort story so get comfortable and enjoy.
Sweet and lovely romances are so easy to love. Sweetheart Season is a wonderful story about a baker and a new to the community fireman. Their feelings spring on them and slowly evolve into more. A wholesome and engaging book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A simply sweet and charming romance from one of my favorites! This was a fun read-I loved the chemistry between the main characters and there is lots of humor in the story which is always a sure fire way to make me love a book. I liked the ending a lot and the turn Megan takes in the story was perfect! Can’t wait for my next Snowdrift Summit visit!
Firefighter Mitch and bakery owner Faith have a not so great meet cute when he runs into her smokey kitchen and gives her advice on fire extinguishers and fire prevention. She discovers he’s her new neighbor and they become friends, working together on a community event. This was a sweet kisses only small town romance.
Part of Snowdrift Summit, Faith Porter the owner of Summit Sweets and firefighter Mitchell Abernathy do not get off to a good start but then a disaster strikes Snowdrift, forcing widespread evacuations and they must work together. Another great story in this series. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really liked Mitch. He just pulled me in right away. (Maybe I have a thing for firemen?) Anyhow, I loved how he reacted to Faith - how they reacted to each other. Snowdrift Summit is a wonderful town full of warm, interesting people. I love going there.
