Written by career player, coach and scout, Joe Collis, Baseball iQ is intended for players who are serious about improving their baseball skills. Includes laugh-out-loud baseball stories that bring the topics to life.
If you dream of being the next Bryce Harper, Aaron Judge or Mike Trout, of making it to the Major Leagues, of playing for the Yankees or the Braves or the Phillies, if you LOVE baseball, then Baseball iQ is the book for you.
Makes the perfect gift for the baseball player or coach in your life.
As a dad coaching my sons’ 10U and 12U teams, this book was a gold mine of fantastic information!
In fact, I found this to book to be so helpful that I bought both a physical copy for my 12yo son, a digital Kindle copy for myself, AND the audiobook version to listen to in the car/on the way to games/practice/etc. Baseball iQ is super informative, very helpful for beginners as well as intermediate players, plus the Kindle version is basically a steal for the money ($2.99 at the time of this writing*)!!
Perhaps the best part of the book is the accessibility and the short chapters packed with anecdotes and situational advice. The breakdowns make sense and it helps to provide a wholistic view of baseball by illustrating how all the moving parts work together.
This book is the best nonfiction book I have ever read. I’m not really a fan of nonfiction, but this book has so many great tips that just from reading a book, I am already a better baseball player.
