I thought I had my life planned out, but now I'm ensnared in an arranged marriage I never wanted and bound to Takeshi, a brooding Yakuza Heir whose commanding presence ignites forbidden desires.
I yearn for freedom, while Takeshi hungers for respect as the new head of his father's empire. Beneath our facade of resistance, an insatiable attraction smolders like an inferno waiting to consume us.
The Yakuza’s unforgiving underworld conspires to rend us asunder; Takeshi's leadership teeters on the precipice, and I begin to realize the real danger that comes with marrying a criminal. The lines between love and loyalty blur as danger surrounds us, relentless and foreboding.
Through the danger, I come to realize that I might actually love him - but if he is forced to make a choice between his empire and me, will I be left for dead?-
Married to the Yakuza Heir is a steamy, fast-paced romance featuring an intercultural relationship. Contains over-the-top steamy scenes, an adventurous heroine, and a possessive bad boy who can’t get enough of his woman.
The actual storyline was enjoyable and didn’t feel overly rushed, however there were so many grammatical errors and mistakes that it took me out of the story too many times. There were also scenes where it’s like the author had forgotten what she’d already written. They would be in one place or position and then the next paragraph they’re going to that place or getting in that position again. It just didn’t really make sense and again, removed me from the story.
Now for the actual story. I enjoyed the relationship between Takeshi and Ami. While parts felt rushed, others felt like time stood still in the best way. We got to see the vulnerability in the characters, the building of the characters and the strengthening of their relationship.
If you can get past the editing issues, and love quick read, this would be good for you
This book was 100% Rushed, i understand short stories but this felt as if the author was being rushed by people to write the book, it has plain characters everywere, none of them not even the main characters have an established personality so you notice how in the story their eays of acting chnge so much that they confuse you The pace of the story is really bad (the erotica part being the one less rushed) with a lot of plot holes.

Married to the Yakuza Heir is a action packed romance. It portrays the world of the Yakuza in it's many forms. Both Ami and Takeshi are fighting to stay together and for their independance. A very good read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was not expecting a Yakuza romance to be so sweet and although it’s hot AF not an insane amount of spice. That being said for how short this book was I was absolutely captivated. A fantastic story and I’ll definitely read more from this author!
It was pretty easy, quick read and I loved reading about another culture.
I may pick up another book from this author though for this one specially I feel like the story and plot were okay but could’ve been better if there was a little more depth in the storyline/characters. I just feel like I was dropped in the middle of a story and then left to find my own way. I think a little more background on the MCs would have been nice.
The ending (epilogue) was also kind of abrupt, I turned the page expecting more and there was nothing. But I will probably pick up the next book in the series because I liked the authors writing.
