What if the world is stranger than it seems? What if love is stronger than loss? What if the ordinary moments we pass every day are quietly brushing against something eternal?
Those questions have led him from ghostly mysteries and speculative fiction to heartfelt romances, coming-of-age stories, and tales of courage, sacrifice, and hope. Though his books span different genres, they are united by one belief: the stories that stay with us are the ones that remind us there is always more beneath the surface than we first imagined.
A veteran, husband, and father of three, Kenny lives in Mississippi, where the rich traditions of the South, childhood memories, and the quiet beauty of country life continue to inspire his writing. His characters are ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances, discovering that fear, faith, love, and redemption often walk hand in hand.
Whether a reader opens one of his books seeking a mystery, a romance, or an unforgettable journey into the unknown, Kenny's hope is always the same—that when the final page is turned, the story will remain in their heart long after the book has been closed.
There is nothing to dislike about this book. The first story had me laughing most of the time and I loved it. The last story makes me want more. Yes, I recommend this book and hope to see more by the author. Please keep writing, Kenny Wayne.
This is a different type of ghost story. Story unfolds quietly, though the reader has some suspension hint as to probable outcome. I wish story had a more clear and complete ending. Still a good read.
Kenny Wayne doesn’t just go down the horror road; there’s wit, warmth, and moments that surprised me. The stories range from spooky suspense to laugh-out-loud paranormal fun (The Hearse Drivers is a standout). Even when the plot feels quiet and contemplative, you feel the weight of the supernatural it’s playing with.
