This book could’ve been shorter, the first 50 pages were really good after that it gets repetitive, don’t get me wrong there are some awesome insights in this book it’s just too long and repetitive.

This book does an excellent job of giving us confidence to get into God's presence and stay there. Too often after the glory falls during a service or alone in our worship, we do not know how to proceed and we lose the opportunity to be one with God and accomplish His will supernaturally on the earth. These statements sound too business-like when in reality, being in His presence allows us to accomplish what is wanted and needed by supernatural means rather than by natural means. One hour in His presence can accomplish more than we could alone in a day.

Hank Kunneman gives many examples from the Bible and from his personal experience to show how to press into God for results. He encourages us not to quit too soon but to stay in God's presence and be changed into His image so that we can do His will on the earth in our lives and in the lives of others.

This book is refreshingly different. It does not give rules of prayer that make prayer seem like a discipline or drudgery. Instead it encourages us to make more of a wonderful experience with God so that we want to keep on returning to His presence and want to maintain some of His presence with us all day. Yes, it would be nice if we could "practice the presence of God" all day like Brother Lawrence. But we are not there yet and this book will help us get closer to that goal.

Get to know God as a Friend, even as He was to Abraham and others! Very thought-provoking!
