Book 9 of the Gaby saga takes us through a difficult time for our hero, not that this volume is all doom and gloom. Far from it in fact, there is a good amount of humour, racing and just plain Gabyness throughout. Get your supplies ready, get set, read!
An upsetting but still well-done book. It's possible that Gaby will be going to Japan and might even race there. (He likes the song Bicycle from Queen.)
Then things go really bad really quick. Helen, a friend of his in England (who seemed to be a really nice girl) is stabbed in a mugging and may not survive. Drew takes a shower and collapses, losing a lot of blood. The reason will force Gaby/Drew to make a very, very important decision and do so fairly soon.
Then there's a girl, Claudia, who has MS and whose future is quick bleak. To cap it off Drew/Gaby is on her cycle and seems to be headed for a serious crash.
