The Classic Text suffers from lack of illustrations

I suppose most of us crusty old dinosaurs learned slide rule use from this book. This edition has no illustrations so I was prone to the same mistakes I made the first time I learned it. If this is your first time, be prepared for some extra frustration as you go through the exercises. Otherwise, you might consider reading the illustrated version on line, or being less miserly.
