Dr. J.K. Jones is the former Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Eastview Christian Church, Normal, Illinois and the former director of the MA in Spiritual Formation at Lincoln Christian University. He currently teaches part-time in the graduate studies program at Ozark Christian College, while continuing to travel, teaching and preaching as opportunities arise. He has spent the past 46 years with one foot in the church and one foot in the classroom. He is a pastor's pastor. J.K. lives in Bloomington, Illinois with his beloved wife, Sue. They have raised two daughters and are blessed with two beautiful grandchildren.

Anything written by Dr Jones is worth reading. "A Soul's House" is no exception. It is exactly what the title says, a primer for spiritual formation, and an excellent one at that. Read this book slowly, ponder the message, learn how to live the soul's greatest pursuit - to know Jesus.
