This one reads like an anime, imagine if you had to explain all the cringe things anime characters do and now imagine putting that into novel form and that's what you get here. That being said, it still kept me reading and wanting to know where the heck it was going so I plowed through it like it was going out of style and therefore I have to give it credit for originality and for keeping my interest. Once you set your expectations in the right place it's actually a pretty cool piece.

Did I cringe to the point where I'll probably have new wrinkles thanks to this book? Yes. Did I still enjoy the ride? Also yes.

this is unlike any other horror novel i’ve ever read. it is drenched in fantasy and excitement, with horrors that are difficult to put into words. our main character, rinyv, is a sarcastic, witty, kill bill-esque fighter with supernatural abilities. every fight she had, every foe she encountered, every snippet of backstory had me racing for more. and the ending?! oh my goshhhh i can’t wait for the story to continue. i highly, highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys horror or dark fantasy!

Just re read this to prepare for book 2 and yep...still love it.

This book is fantastic and a great audiobook. I don't see why this one isn't getting a ton of hype! I loved it and would totally watch it if it ever adapted to an anime. It already has that perfect amount of cringe you would expect from an anime anyway 🤣. It's still such a fun book.

I just adore the bunnie queenie rinyv 🙃🐰

I got sent this book for an honest review back in june and first I have to apologize to the author for it taking me so long to start the book as once I did I found it almost impossible to put down and even consided calling into work sick to read more. I absolutely love this book and the charatcters especilly Rin obviously but also her best friend who I just found to be lovable. The story was just so captavating and gripping, that I was just desperate for more that I will be buying the next one as soon as I am able. I absolutely adore the author writing style and found it incredibly entertaining and easy to follow, I also loved Rin's style of speech her many years of wisdom shone through with every sentence but some of her choices were straight out of the mind of a teenager, the juxtaposition that she presented was fantastic. All in all i bloody loved this book and can see this series being freaking incredible, also strange side note but I could see this story lending really well to a graphic novel.

Dude, this book is like, Alice madness returns meets horror badass rabbit girl anime. Alice madness returns is one of my FAVORITE video games and honestly, if this were to become a game, it would be partnered with it.
I can picture this being both an anime show & a video game, it’s really that good.
I LOVED every aspect of this!! From the not being sure about anything, to being a badass half rabbit half human teenager!!!!!!! I have not read anything like it and I am completely obsessed!! My anime nerd friends would LOVE this book… actually, I’m gonna go tell them about this now!

This story was so much more than I was expecting. I am amazed by the imagination and the plot.

Rinyv is a teenager with a crazy past, and she is just trying to survive the days until the countdown to the end of the world strikes.

The story is full of neat creatures, lots of fight scenes, and an unusual weapon. I think the weapon Rinyv uses is awesome!

This is certainly one of those stories that you'll be pulled in quick and read through it fast. I'm ready for book two!!

This book is a young adult horror novel. The book flows so perfectly, which makes for a very easy read for the reader. Personally, I think this book is a great read for even adults. It has such a gripping story that once you start reading this, you will be sucked into RinyV's world, wanting to know how her tale will end. I absolutely loved the characters in this book. It is not lacking in the horror department either. I feel like if you are at all interested in anime, this book will especially appeal to you. I was certainly not disappointed and will be anxiously awaiting the next chapter of this series.

I think book felt like a fever dream

Rinyv has died over and over agin right before she turns 15 and this time she is wanting to stop the cycle.

This book was wild! The cover put my brain in thinking this is what anime must be like (I’ve never watched anime). There were some out of this world elements literally that really kept me drawn in.

There out extraterrestrial rabbits in a futuristic setting.

There is some cringy wording like: “I rushed to the mirror to drool over my new body for the hundredth time this year.”

But if you forget all reality and just want to escape into a strange world for a while this is a good book to do that.

There is a good amount of gore so keep that in mind.

Horror/Dark Fantasy

Description: A sinister presence delights in Rinyv's torment, relentlessly pursuing and killing her the moment she turns 15. Now , having encountered death four times already, the girl is living her fifth life hoping to alter her Fate and put an end to this endless cycle of suffering.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish its a great YA Horror novel worth your time if you enjoy Scifi/horror/ fantasy.

I loved the MC who was pretty amazing at holding herself together even with the 5 lifetimes of trauma she has endured. I loved the visual of a rabbit society taking over our world and the rabbit king searching for his lost queen.

I would have liked more building on the MCs crush on her best friend but maybe that will take place in book 2 .

* I loved that the author was able to write in such a way that was articulate and artistic without using foul language for the sake of shock value so I'd be ok with my 14 yr old reading this . *

Most teenagers look forward to their sweet 16! Fantasies of presents and parties and a little bit of freedom. However, Rinyv has her own fantasies of just making it to 16. She has tried 4 times already and died! Yes, died and was reincarnated- a viscous cycle her tormentor cursed her with. Will she be able to break the curse this time?

Arrival of The Moon Hare is a YA novel. I thought this book was written well and the character development was great. This book just flowed, from beginning to the end and It was like a rollercoaster ride from the emotions to the oddities of the scenes or even characters.

Definitely, Definitely recommend this to adults and YA. I dont step out of my comfort reads often, but Im so glad I did with this one.
I havent read Anime/Manga, just watched some movies. I only hope anime-feel like books are this FLAWLESS!

I dont want more of this series, I need it.

14-year-old Rinyv Eman has a rough life, and her life before that, and her life before that. Oh yeah, I should mention that when she turns 15, she gets murdered. This is her 5th time around. She's hoping to change this and lead a normal life. Unfortunately, she learns the world is coming to an end, and to top it off, she may be the only chance to save it.

If you enjoy anime, horror, sci-fi, and apocalyptic stories, this is the book for you. My synopsis is only a small taste of what is involved in this book. It's super different, and I mean that in the best way possible. It revs up and takes off like a cannon. Action-packed insanity, violence, and humor made for an anime-style thrill ride that I really enjoyed. If you are looking for something really out of the ordinary, give this one a go!

Dropping into the odd world that Ryniv lives in was definitely a wild trip. A young girl who dies before her 16th birthday by some sort of entity. Possessed or mental with the personality Annette. Partially transforming into a rabbit. Wielding a giant pair of alien world tech scissors. Action packed and the one chapter with the warning wasn't nearly as 'bad' as I had expected it might be. I look forward to the second book. I really likes the writing style. Definitely gave me anime vibes. I think my only draw back was that there was a lot of story and background that I am just unsure where some of its going. I definitely recommend this for a quick fun and quirky read.

Thank you Duyu Wander

I loved the Cover Art on this novel. This is a Supernatural story about a young girl who dies on her 15th birthday repeatedly into infinity. I really enjoyed the emotional rush this writer was able to capture in the writing style of this book. I highly recommend this 5 star novel. It's an excellent way to introduce horror books to teen readers.

It was action packed and dripping blood all the way thru. This is the first book in this series.

This is very imaginative dark/horror fantasy. It was a quick read, once you got past the beginning which had bullying, self-harm, and domestic abuse. As the story picked up, the pace is fast, with fighting, gore, and horror. The world building is very good, as are the characters which feel authentic and well-developed. He is spot-on with his depiction of the teenagers, too. The ending was great, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here. This book is suitable for YA/late teens, as well as adults. I recommended it to my 16 year old who loves anime.

Arrival of The Moon Hare

The author really warned me that this is different than what I usually read which isn’t a lie. But what he didn’t know was that I’m an anime chick. 🤣🤣👏 love this book honestly it was pretty amazing. Very creative and I love the glory in this book. You’re my first male author honestly and you set the standards pretty high!

First and foremost I am an anime and graphic novel fiend! The dark fantasy, epic details, sci-fi style, kill bill Quentin Tarantino esque descriptions were on point! I love the main character. Main reminds me so much of Kill bill or Croft or a trained assassin. I was racing to the end and finished this one within a day of starting! The author has opened up a new door for me with reading! And it was so easy to read and follow along! I cannot wait for the next one! 5 stars across the board.

I JUST finished this amazing novel and HOLY SHIT. I couldn’t put it down. I read through it in about a day and a half—because fuck adulting— and guys. Stop what you’re doing and snag a copy. Normally I don’t try to push novels on people. But holy SHIT. The attention to detail was beautiful, and the gore was chefs kiss. When I picked it up I KNEW I was in for a ride. I couldn’t stop reading, and when I was forced to go to bed I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Out of 5 stars I give it 10.

Arrival of the Moon Hare is a quick read. I admit that it took me a minute to get into it, but after a couple chapters I was hooked! It has good gore, action, and it’s well written. I haven’t read much in the horror/fantasy genre, but after reading this I will definitely be reading more. Looking forward to the next installment!

I finished Rinyv through Audible. It's a little hard to explain, but it is wild! I enjoyed Rinyv and all her flaws. She's likable and crazy at the same time. Even though her true self comes through later, she becomes more human. I need to read the second one! If you love anime, you will love this quirky horror novel.

I loved how this author paved the way for a new genre essentially, the ideas/storyline introduced was a fresh new perspective, I was thoroughly entertained, mortified, grossed out, intrigued, but I loved every moment of it. I find Horror to be a a easy hit or miss, but Rinyv reinvents the genre and is a nuke hitting every damn target.

I’m not a huge horror reader (but I do read across the genres), but I will say it was an interesting read, that did leave me wanting the next volume in the series to see what happen next. It had fairly good pacing throughout.

It’s a really good book, yeah it may be sickening for some people. But it has a trigger warning in the 2nd page, and the book was really good, it has high potential for it to be a graphic novel.

I received this book in exchange of an honest review.

This book was strange but in a good way. It was inventive and bizarre and I really loved that about the book. I mean alien rabbits invading earth and a human rabit hybrid teen is determined to save the planet. What's not to like. It had an Anime feel to it that was super cool. This was a fun read. Definitely a unique take on the apocalypse.
I Give it 4.75 stars
