A fantasy romance story about Raidi, the daughter of the Queen of the Enchanted Forest, and Galen, the future Fae king of the Forbidden Mountains. After a chance encounter, they become forever bonded as mates, despite their parents' objections and the disapproval of the Fae elders. Together, they decide to lead a rebellion against the High Fae court, who have long divided the realms. However, their plans are threatened by a betrayal from one of their closest allies, and they must find a way to rally their forces and defeat the High Fae army in the final battle. Throughout their journey, they will face many challenges and obstacles, but their love and determination never waver. The story explores themes of unity, loyalty, and sacrifice, as well as the power of love to overcome even the most difficult of trials.
K. Rose has been a part of the Indie Author Community for years. Getting her start as a reader, her keen eye led to a wonderful career in Alpha/Beta and ARC (Advance Reader Copy) reading. As a joke to her fellow advanced reader colleagues, she created a spoofed blurb and cover for a story and the feedback was so positive that it sparked her to run with it. That stoked a fire that has her racing down a multi-genre freeway with no off-ramp in sight. K. doesn’t write to “market” and she is fairly certain that her humor and use of puns may cause an eye roll or two. This still wouldn’t stop her from making sure there is humor in every one of her stories. As a Multi Genre Author, there is sure to be something for everyone to love. She has traveled the USA extensively, including Alaska, and lived in thirty-eight of the fifty states. Home is now the beautiful state of Wisconsin, where she dreams up her stories in the company of her menagerie of furbabies, including five puppies, five rescue kitties, a bunch of chickens, ducks and turkeys ruled by a Rooster named Chicken Parm, and a ninety-gallon tropical fish tank. Life will always be interesting for K. Rose, which will fuel her works, and keep her muses singing, come join the chorus.
This is a unique and interesting stand alone by this talented authour. I enjoyed the whole context behind this story, but I think it felt rushed at time. Both MCs are captivating and you are reading and hoping they get their happy ending together. I liked learning about the MCs but at times would have appreciate learning more about their background. But honestly I really love a Fae storyline, they always hero me entertained. This book has sone spice, adventure and twist and turns that have you flicking through the pages.
This book feels as if it was written in a sleep addled state - the whole story reads as if taking place within a few weeks. It’s rushed and incoherent at times.
TW: It also describes near incest. FMC is mated to the Crown Prince and his IDENTICAL TWIN brother.
There is a set scene written where they both take her at the same time, and she describes feeling them both moving inside of her.
Bound to the Fae by K Rose is an epic fantasy romance with a nice Juliet and Romero twist that will keep you enthralled till the very end! Rose did an amazing job at setting the plot and creating a descriptive immersive world that the reader could fall into and characters that you instantly fall in love with. Bound to the Fae is a standalone polyamorous novel. A human princess looking to save her people from a curse seeks help from a fae prince. He has his own agenda, and so for his help, he requests her own in return. Surprisingly they both feel a connection to the other, and quickly discover that they share a bond. Cue sparks. Will their bond be accepted? Or will it be fought? Well, since this book has a HEA, you can guess where that leads. LOL! Obstacles may stand in their way, but love will win out. Bound to the Fae has potential, but it falls short. The story lacks detail and depth. I had to frequently reread a passage, because something felt like it either got skipped over or was just missing. What was missing was the details. This story is unfortunately lacking quite a bit of them. You’d expect more background, more resistance in Raidi reaching the prince. More detail into his background when he’s saying he has a dark history/past. More detail in the things that they have to endure, because it’s more than just one...prince, too. The chapters are short, and the story moves quickly, but with the lack of detail it comes off as disjointed and sometimes hard to follow. I just wanted more so that I’d be engaged and swallowed up by the story. As it is, this story kept me at arms length and failed to draw me all the way in. 4 out of 5 stars
This story is about Raidi a princess who has come to the Fae prince Gaelin for help to save her kingdom from a hidden evil what she finds is adventure love fated mates and family drama and a group of Fae that dont relish giving up there power she will also find that she can love more then just one prince Erek is Gaelin's twine so there are manage elements with a hint of spice thrown in with lots of magical creatures that help them threw out the book.
This book has high fantasy vibes it felt like it was part of another story or a continuing story that had left off somewhere the imagery that the author created is there the timeliness seemed off at parts of the book but it was when Raidi and Gaelin were going threw there trial to liberate his kingdom from the High Fae Council and there evil hold they have on everyon if I had one issue with this book I wish that Raidi and Erek had more time together I wanted to know how he felt his point of view what he suffered threw while Raidi and Gaelin were gone. But that's just my personal perspective I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
This novella about fated mates and human princess bonded to two fae princes follows the journey of Raidi, Galen, and Erec in their efforts to unite not only themselves but also the humans and the fae. They face obstacles and challenges on the way that push them back and even separate them, yet they don't give up and give their all for the cause they believe in. The idea of the story is good and the world could be interesting, but I was struggling with the execution. The plot was sometimes jumpy, sometimes repetitive, scenes and moments that would need depth to add richness and solid foundation to the story were rushed, and I also lacked good character development. I simply could not get into the story or care for the characters, missing a natural flow in the plot, and if it wasn't so short and fast, I would be considering a dnf - on the other side, with added length there is a chance the world building and depth of the crucial scenes would have been improved, so it isn't a given I'd not finish the book otherwise.
Bound to the Fae is a romantasy featuring Raidi, a human princess, and Galen, a Fae prince. Raidi sets off in search of the prince to seek his assistance for her people. When they meet, they discover that they are fated mates...with a small twist.
The two have an uphill battle to be together as their parents don't approve of their union. They endeavour to bring down the High Fae court, and need to seek out allies. There's danger and deceit all around but at least they have each other.
I won't go into it too much as I feel like everyone should decide for themselves whether or not a book it for them. I thought this would be a perfect fit for me as I love fantasy and romance, but it didn't hit its mark. I was inclined to DNF but I persisted.
I would encourage you to read it and decide for yourself.
The author paints beautiful imagery for your reading pleasure, develops relationships well, and also has a good mix between the happiness and plight on their journey to a HEA. There was something in the writing style that was just off for me. I will say that this book had a lot of potential and most readers will likely enjoy it. This is no slight to the author or the story as not every author’s style is going to be everyone’s cup of tea. With that said I feel that if you like fantasy, world building, and this writing style falls in your wheelhouse, definitely give it a read as it will be worth it. I will for sure be checking out this author’s other books to see if this was a one off on the vibing. I gave it 3.5 stars but rounded to 4 because my not meshing with a style shouldn’t deter anyone.
I love stories about fae! There is just something about fae’s that i love I think they are incredible. So when I see this story I knew it was a must read.
“I love you…both of you. I can feel it inside of my soul. A piece that has been missing, that I never knew was waiting for you to find and fill it is so overly full it's near painful the amount of love that I feel right now.”
The story follows our FMC Raidi who is the Princess of the Kingdom of Evergreen she goes to the Fae kingdom to ask for Prince Galen’s help as the kingdom is on the brink of ruin due to a curse, he agrees as long as she helps him destroy the High fae court. We then find out that they are made for each other! They fall for each other hard and fast! We then find out that Galen has a twin Erec who is also made for Raidi and they fall for each other too. They have to fight for their kingdoms and their love.
“Galen’s lips claim mine in a searing kiss, while Erec trails kisses along my neck…”
I am not typically one to read fae stories, but I must admit I was intrigued with this one, and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed this book and found myself dying to know what was going to happen next.
The story follows Princess Raidi in her quest to save the Enchanted Forest (her kingdom), and Galen, Prince of Fae, who opposes the tyranny of the Fae High Court. Together they fight for their kingdoms and their love.
The book contains romance, spice, defiance, magic, battles, dragons, and other creatures. Some of the tropes you will find include insta-love, fated mates, twins, MFM, menage, forbidden love.
This story is beautiful and tragic to a degree. We have a love that should be celebrated but not everyone feels the same way. Radi, Galen, and Erec have to deal with betrayal, and disappointment, lies and tribulations. The story is a fantastic one that has so much drama, suspense and mystery. It had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. It is beautifully written and developed. I loved the interactions between the characters and how well their emotions are felt throughout the story. K. Rose always delivers a story that is one that will have you so deeply invested into the characters and what is happening to them. This one is no different. It is a stunning story that is absolutely a must read.
This book was so interesting. I loved the fantasy romance, and some forbidden love, with a hint of insta-love mixed in. I really enjoy fated mates, and anything that involves multiple MMCs is always okay in my book ;). We have two families that are at odds with each other, and while our FMC is on a mission to save her kingdom, the opposing Prince? What could possibly go wrong... or in this case right?
There was definitely some twists and turns, especially when everything isn't clear between the two just yet. They're working on finding out the best solution while fighting for everything.
It's an interesting story, and I'm intrigued if we get more from this world, since this does end in a HEA!
This is a very romantic adventure, in which the human princess Raidi meets and instantly (and mutually) falls for the twin Fae princes, Galen and Erec. The first half of the book deals with their mating, while the second half is the adventure. Together, they work to make their kingdoms better places. The writing is very descriptive, bordering on flowery language; I feel that there are times when the meaning gets a bit lost in the language, and some things are repetitive, but the picture the author paints of the world and the characters is beautiful. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
While I liked this book, the story was enjoyable, I don't feel I got enough of the actual world. I couldn't feel the background of the scene. And I loved the characters at first, I feel like there wasn't much growth after the whole mate thing. Which disappointed me.
Yeah, I felt like some scenes were suffering from "white room" syndrome. And I was being told a lot and not being shown as much.
But I did like the story, it was easy to get through and I loved the premise. I just think it could've been executed a bit better.
But if you enjoy the mates trope and forbidden love and MMF, then you will like this book.
I thought this was good for the most part… don’t get me wrong, the storyline was good, character building was good, world building was on par with the rating but there were a few situations I could not wrap my head around. The timeline confused me a little bit, didn’t always mention how long they were travelling for but other than this I liked the book. There is a small level of spicyness but still good. I would recommended this book. Happy reading!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Okay, so I have never really been a big fantasy reader, and I was a little nervous to read this one and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The story was told so well, and I didn't find the Fae/Fantasy elements confusing to understand. I don't want to give too much away, but this beautiful story and journey not only has tons of love and determination but is filled with loyalty, sacrifice, and preservation. Totally reccomend.
I have received this ARC for an honest review, all thoughts/ opinions above are my own.
The story took me a little while to truly become immersed in and for the story to grab my attention. There is quite a lot of description which brought the world to life. We have Princess Raidi who’s going into the fae work since she needs help and wants to protect her people. She comes into contact with a fae prince Galen and finds there are secrets being kept. She has to figure out what’s going on and what she can do. Theres a decent amount of spice and action to keep you entertained. And will their bond be able to withstand all this?
Bound to the Fae is a fantasy about our FMC, Raidi. She is the princess of Evergreen, which is on the edge of being destroyed. She visits Prince Galen in the Fae kingdom and they come to an agreement to help each other. She feels an instant connection not only with Galen, but also his twin Erec. Cue the insta-love (which is usually not my jam, but I liked it in this instance). There is so much action in this book that I could not put it down! I would prefer more spice, but the story line was great. Well done!
This story is very descriptive in a mystical way. I’m not sure how to accurately describe it, but it reads like the highest of high fantasy to me. I think the fact that Raidi and Galen are nobility play into that. I think this may be the most fae sounding story I’ve read, almost like a fae had written it. It had a sprinkle of historical romance feel to the interactions, which I enjoyed. If you like quests, fairytales, and happily ever afters you’ll enjoy this one.
Bound to the Fae by K Rose is a serious jaunt into another world. Reading this book really felt like being transported into another universe, thanks to the writing skills of this very talented writer. The plot draws you in and the characters are fairly well defined. I do wish that the writer continues to write from this universe so that we may be able to glimpse more of not only these specific characters, but also other potential stories that would thrive in this place.
Bound to The Fae is Part of the Realm of Midnight Anthology, the story is by K. Rose. Raidi, the daughter of the Queen of the Enchanted Forest, and Galen, the future Fae king of the Forbidden Mountains, meet by chance and find they are mates. The story is well written with a very good storyline that kept me turning pages. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Bound To The Fae by K Rose is one of many stories in thr Anthology Realm of Midnight. It is a fast-paced, fast-burn paranormal romance. It is supersweet with an insta-love theme between fated mates that fulfill a Prophecy. The writing is beautiful and filled with vibrant descriptions. This is a beautiful story that flows along for readers with quite a bit of steam. If you enjoy tales of Fated Mates with a human and a fae you'll enjoy Bound To The Fae
Randi is the daughter of the Queen of the Enchanted Forest.
Princess Randi of Evergreen is trying to save her kingdom she meets Galen rhe agree to help each other and form a bond but also forms an attraction with his twin Erec.
Galen and Erec both stole Randis heart. They had numerous trials and tribulations but together they can overcome it all.
This book has everything you could possibly want. I highly recommend.
I made it to chapter 7 before I had to DNF this book. I would say this book has really great potential if it was a longer story and had more detail. It was hard for me to follow the book and stay interested. It felt very rushed, and a lot of pieces were missing. In one chapter, she would be asking for help with a curse, and the next chapter, there was something about being betrayed, and then they were fates mated and in love.
I do like to read a fae story and was intruiged by this read.
This books is about Princess Raidi and the enchanted forest and of course her love intrest prince Galen. This book you find that they fight for what is right each other and their love. I loved the characters and their forbidden romance as a whole.
With plans to save her family and lands from a curse Raidi sets off on an adventure to the fae lands but what she finds when she gets there is way more than she ever hoped for... but at what price will she pay to save her family...
Filled with adventure and battles will love triumph over laws and armies.. read it and find out.
Raidi is the daughter of the queen and she is about to meet the future king of the forbidden mountains. She will become bonded to him and no one is happy about it. Now they need to rebel against her mother to be together. How will they get on? Will their love last? Can they prove their bond to everyone including her mother? See where their love takes them
The Enchanted Forest is on the brink of evil. The princess, Raidi, seeks the help of Prince Galen from the Forbidden Mountains. The descriptions of the world make you feel like you are together on their quest. The twists of the Princes and Princess, while they try to right the wrongs, was entriguing.
This author weaves the written world into a kaleidoscope for the mind. Her narrative is so descriptive you feel the moss under your feet, and smell the forest surrounding you. You are transported, as if by magic, from place to place through her carefully constructed world. If you need an escape, you will find it here.
A great read! The world building was incredible and the characters believable. I enjoyed how Princess Raidi and Prince Galen and Erec band together to stand up to the Fae High Court. Their love for each other allows them to be stronger together and ultimately they are able to free the people from the oppression they have lived under for far too long
