Fun Series!

One of the better harem manga series out there! Fun, entertaining and lively with great characters! I highly recommend it!

So far, every tankoubon of Chained Soldier I read took its time to establish a major moment in the plot. In this one, Kyouka & Co. gained new allies in Aoba (Yuuki's sister) and her followers, only to enter a prelude to more obstacles not just in terms of villainesses to face, but also a supreme female commander who may either disapprove of Kyouka having a male serve under her since the Demon Defense Corps (of which Kyouka's team is a division) was created to only recruit women due to their being able to get powers from the magic peaches or dare to rival her for Yuuki's affections like the romantically-obsessed Tenka is already doing (noting Kyouka's warning of why Yuuki mustn't give eye contact to the supreme commander), not to mention that multiple team leaders in the Corps will compete against Kyouka for supreme commander position in days to come. While the sexual content continues to be of good taste (and the nudity and half-nakedness of attractive female characters still remains visually appealing), Yuuki was given a new obstacle of his own after overcoming his problem with Aoba and her followers: not staying 100 percent focused on his commitment to Kyouka, Himari, and Shushu both professionally and sexually every time he interacts with Demon Defense Corps members other than those of Kyouka's division, esp. Tenka. Fortunately, things got more intimate as Yuuki got another sexy love moment with Kyouka (this time in bed at night), and I'm already liking the concept of a sexual/loving bond with a female evolving every time Yuuki's powers evolve, but at the end of the day, I think it's now a question of, "How much women riding a male servant is too much for him to handle at once?". Well, I'm game for the next tankoubon.

Esta saga estaba tomando un buen camino, tenía una trama fuerte. Pero no para de repetirse y de encajar contenido Ecchi sin contexto dónde.

No sé si la seguiré.

Started for the ecchi, really interested at the plot now that it feels like it’s actually starting to get going! Staying for the ecchi though…

Unihorn finally bites it and the demon girls are captured and fed to a really weird looking thunder god. I’m big excited for next volume!

Something about this series just doesn’t hit. It felt like the action at the beginning was fun and I was interested, but then they get down time and I’m bored af. The fanservice kinda sucks and boils down to fetishes, there needs to be more sexiness like how the humanoid shuuki have super tight sheer suits that can basically show everything. (Just add more nudity) I don’t feel any connection to the protagonists like I do in other series. They introduce a lot of people but I’m not sure if they’re integral to the story or how much to be invested into the new additions since they aren’t really a part of the 7th squad or 6th squad. Ngl I skimmed the last chapters and just feels slow and drawn out for whatever reason; everyone has to get introduced and super canned personalities that I can almost assume right when I look at them, which isn’t bad sometimes but here it feels boring paired with this art. The art is probably another reason I’m not super stoked when reading this, it has a Saturday morning cartoon look/feel for most of the time and can have moments of high artistic ability.

Ok the final bonus chapter had some actual sexiness to it. But I still can’t get over how I feel like I’m not super connected with any characters. And even if I did they might not even get screen time (Shushu, Wakasa for example had 0 screen time and I was bummed out by that)

I’ll grab vol 7 out of necessity to complete the collection but I’m not happy about it yet, maybe vol 7 will be sexier, funnier and better overall lol
