Probably my favorite from the last 5 remaining books in this series.

I liked the way their story was set up and I thought it was a bit funnier than the others. There were some laugh out loud moments that I did not expect and on top of that he was OTT but also less reclusive and less broody than the rest so I did not think I would like him more than the others but for some reason it worked for this story and character.

This was fun and I find it hilarious that the FMC falls first and hard in this novella. Usually it's the guys but I did like the change in here. She saw him and she had this idea to get his attention all of sudden. She didn't even have to work hard because it was insta-love for the MMC too.

This would've been a 4 ⭐ read but I cringed so hard every time Julian referred to her virginity. Like yeah, we get it you're her first, but maaaan do you have to repeat it multiple times??

It also made me uncomfortable that they did it bareback without having STD talk. I know this is fiction and a novella, but I still want the health status to be discussed. 🤷‍♀️

Aside from the ick with their spicy scene, this book is ridiculously absurd with its ott plot. 😂 Still worth reading if readers want to pass some time.

This is the story of Abby who wants to be bold, as her tattoo reminds her and at 23 she makes the decision to change her life, get a job at a bakery in Greene Mountains. She moves and settles into her new life and then she sees Julian holding a small child he rescued, with his cute bloodhound, Charlie. Abby makes the decision to be bold and meet her crush. The next day she goes to his bungee jumping business to meet him and the rest you have to read.
I think it is my favorite one. It isn't perfect, (he seems experienced). I love their story, how fierce he is whether he is pursuing Abby or eating her mangled blueberry danishes. He is so sweet and intense and she just as OTT obsessed with him, and all in and I enjoyed their relationship.
It is short, sweet and I recommend it, especially for the epilogues!
Also, there is a hilarious secondary character that make me laugh a lot, one of Olivia T Turner's best secondary characters, he was just a hoot!

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Abby has fallen into a rut, she always thought she would be traveling and living her best life after graduating high school. Instead at 23 she works at her uncle’s car dealership doing administrative work and living with seven roommates. The tattoo she got after graduation says Be Bold, but she has been the complete opposite. One day she decides that’s it she’s going to be bold and live life.
She gets a job as a bakery assistant in Green Mountain. Her boss Trish is a sweet woman who gets her settled in the above bakery apartment. While talking Trish spies Julian, he’s part of the search and rescue team and he’s returning with a lost little girl. Abby can’t tear her eyes away from Julian, she has never seen a hotter guy before. Trish tells her he also works at the bungee jumping company.
The next morning Abby decides to be bold and go see Juliann and bungee jump. She’s mesmerized by his hotness again and when it’s her turn to jump he straps her in and gives her a little pep talk to calm her. His pep talk is a little more than he usually says to scared or nervous customers because he is equally mesmerized by Abby. He knows by looking at her he has found his soul mate. After her jump she’s bold again and kisses him. Their kiss is long and steamy so much so his sister and business partner has to remind him he’s working and they have customers.
He visits her at the bakery and asks her out. Their date goes very well and they end up back at the bakery and have their first time together, she’s a virgin no mention of his past. Little bit of breeding thoughts by Julian
After that they are a couple and soon she moves in with him, epilogues at three months he proposes, at 18 months with a baby boy, and at 30 years with six kids and him getting a lifetime achievement award for his work with search and rescue. His speech thanking his wife and saying how much her love and support meant to him and his success was beautiful.
The book is sweet, no angst, no action, no danger, no third act breakup, nothing. Just two people wildly attracted to each other, sex and a happily ever after.

Quick, short, insa-everything, and OTT read. Exactly Olivia's recipe, which works great for her books.

I liked that she fell just as fast as him, maybe even faster (she saw him first and said, "Yep, he's mine* 🫢😅). But what I really love about this book and all her books, actually, are the epilogues. She writes such good epilogues, with the couple along the years, that are just lovely and cheesy at times, but that's exactly what I need sometimes to read.

Can't wait for the next mountain couple 👀.

An amazingly written story with wonderful characters and a great page turner as well as an easy read. A sweet steamy romantic happily ever after that makes it worth reading.
A young woman leaves everything behind to start a new life, she gets a position in a bakery in a small mountain town. The woman is not even for very long when she meets the mountain man of her dreams and when he finally sees her he knows that she is his mate that he has been waiting for. The mountain man goes to see her at work and tries to help her get the guy she works with to stop harassing her about movie theories so he has him write stuff on a cake and he also buys the danish that she made. They go on their first to a place not far away from her work/apartment and when the date is over they go back to her place where he gives her oral sex, finding out she is a virgin, they wind up in her bed naked and she gives him oral sex before they have sex. The mountain man wants to breed her and make her his. They fall asleep together.
The next morning she gets up when her alarm goes off, getting ready for work she leaves the mountain man in bed to rest. The guy she works with helps her with the danish, showing her step by step how to make them, she finds him better helping her then him harassing her about movie theories. The boss is happy with her work. When the mountain man comes down the boss’s eyes go wide, the mountain man and the boss make pleasantries then gives the woman a kiss. The couple decide to meet when she gets off work.
Three months later the couple is hiking on a trail with the search and rescue dog. The woman still can’t get over the beautiful view of the mountains. They talk a bit while they hike the trail. The woman is getting used to getting up early for work and her boss has given her more to do. She moved in with her mountain man. The mountain man talks about their future together. When she turns to him after she asks a question that he didn’t answer she sees him on one knee, he gets a box out of his pocket and he asks her to marry him and she tells him yes. He jumps up picking her up as he’s so happy and she wraps her arms and legs around him. She can’t believe that she’s going to marry her mountain man.
Eighteen months later she’s at the bakery when her husband comes in with their son in his arms. The couple couldn’t wait so they married not long after he asked her. After she got pregnant she only works shifts a week. They sit at a table to have a little snack before they go home. When they get home the baby is asleep and the mountain man carries him to his room. The woman was about to fix dinner when the mountain man takes her to their bedroom and they have sex. She can’t keep her eyes open so he tucks her under the covers and goes to make dinner closing the door behind him.
Thirty years later the mountain man is being honored for his lifetime service with search and rescue. He doesn’t think that he should get the honor because if it wasn’t for his wife who rescued him none of it would have happened. The two men that he works with present it to him. He looks at everyone who has come to see him get the award, the people who he has saved, his friends, his family, his six children with their significant others and his wife. He makes his speech and thanks everyone. When he leaves the podium he goes right straight for the woman he loves his wife, who he wraps his arms around and kisses her. They love deepens even more.

She is a barely surviving woman living with five roommates to which she leaves and moves to the Greene Mountains. She has a tattoo on her wrist that she got when she turned 18 and it says to be bold. She gets a job at a bakery working for a woman named Trish and is living right above it on the overhead apartment. She sees Julian Long who is a search and rescue worker as well as a bungee instructor/worker saving a little girl who got lost in the woods. That same day she goes to bungee jump but also to see Julian and when he saw her he was astonished and excited. She jumped with little to no hesitation. When she came back up she kissed him and it started from there. The next day he is like this woman is my soulmate and goes into the bakery with insight from Molly who is Colin’s wife and asks her out. OMG SCOTT IS SO CUTE AND ANNOYING I LOVE IT. The hogwarts reference was cute. They go out to eat and drink and then one thing leads to another and it’s bang bang. From then on they move in together, she moves in with him, they get engaged then married and then she’s pregnant with Nathan. 30 years later still fully in love with six kids and he’s winning an award for his duties as a search and rescue officer.

Seize the day, Seize the man, Seize this book

Since I own every book in this marvelous series, I have it on good authority ( I am that authority. Lol 😂 ), that this is by far the best one. 23 y/o Abby Reynolds leaves her dreadful job as a clerk in her uncle’s used car dealership and heads for Greene Mountains. She secures a job at a bakery there, and as she’s talking to owner Trish, she sees Julian Long. God did not shortchange this masterpiece of maleness in looks, muscles, and apparently other anatomical endowments. In addition to his role in Search and Rescue, Julian runs a bungee jumping operation. In order to seize her man, Abby will have to “be bold” and leap off a bridge in between 2 mountains where she is suspended by a bungee cord and plummets to the rapids below. Read what happens after Julian’s heart plummets along with the love of his life’s leap. Their dialogue is dreamy, humorous and passionate. But the funniest part of the book is a 3 way dialogue between Abby, Julian and Scott ( Trish’s nephew who works at the bakery and talks incessantly about movie themes at 5 am!! Hahaha 😝 ). It’s right about then when I peed my pants. OMG 😳. Who the hell is Jar Jar Binks, anyway?!

“It’s best not to ask too many questions and just enjoy the view.”

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, sweet read. I loved Abby- who'd finally had enough and decided it was time for action and to take charge of her life and improve her outlook and self confidence. I loved her first glimpse of Julien. The way it was written- I felt like I was right there watching him with her. I loved their first meeting even more- and how her heart-stopping first glance of him with mirrored when he first lays eyes on her. And it was hilarious (and hot) all at the same time.

“You got this, Abby” he whispers in my ear. “I know you’re the kind of woman who can move the world. You can do anything, beautiful girl.”

I loved these two together. Another wonderful addition to this awesome series. I think this is my favorite book! That meet-cute cannot be topped! 5 stars.

Abby (h23) realizes she’s not living the life she wants and moves to the Greene Mountains to start a new life for herself. She soon catches an eyeful of one of Search and Rescue’s finest, Julian (H29), and instantly falls for him – luckily for Abby, he feels the same way when she shows up as a customer at his bungee jump business. Abby’s first day at the bakery was so funny, from her questionable danishes to the HP cake, and Julian was so sweet and supportive. Scott would drive me crazy as a coworker, though at least he redeemed himself when he stopped talking movie theory and helped Abby learn the craft. Love having both the short- and long-term epilogues – it’s nice to get their life story, even without all the details. Sweet and spicy mountain man instalove quickie with some smiles and heat – be forewarned about some initial bad baking.

No puedo aguantarme para leer el siguiente libro este libro es una bomba me gusta que ella quiera empezar todo desde cero y lo hacen las montañas y casualmente tiene el hombre más sexy de todo el pueblo así como los libros anteriores claro que nos dan entender que en esa montaña sólo hay hombres sexys Son libros muy rápidos se leen en un maratón de 24 horas o en menos de una semana son rápidos no tiene mucha trama siempre tienen finales felices lo cual uno siempre aprecia y son muy muy sencillo de leer, si buscan una historia bien pensada bien ejecutada con varios personajes muy larga este libro no es para ustedes pero si buscan algo para que distraerse después de un libro muy duro estos son los libros para ustedes

This is completely adorable from beginning to end with pockets of humor and sweet, sweet heat. It gives a whole new meaning to over the counter. 😏🔥

Trisha: “The Greene Mountains are full of hot mountain men like him. Hottest spot in the universe.”

Abby Reynolds definitely discovers the perks of being bold. I love that she makes the first move with Julian Long and tilts that man's axis. But good!

Quick read. Super steamy which doesn’t bother me but I could have done without the word c**t twenty times.
Instalust that turns into instalove.
Search and rescue mountain man and a newcomer virgin find each other in the Greene Mountains.
She needs to get away from her crappy job and her seven other roommates. So she takes a new job in a different town. She definitely didn’t know how to bake in the beginning but finally got the hang of it.
Nice triple epilogue…normally don’t see characters that far in the future.

Trish is showing Abby her apartment when they hear a commotion outside. They look down and across the street is the search and rescue team, their offices are located across the street from the bakery. Abby is shocked to see a big mountain man and he is gorgeous. Trish tells Abby that he also runs the bungee cord company in Greene Mountain. Abby decides to Be Bold and go bungee jumping. Julian works as search and rescue in Greene Mountain and he owns the bungee jumping company with his sister Ivy. At the bridge where they run the bungee jumping company Abby gives Ivy her ticket and she can’t take her eyes off Julian. Abby stands right in front of Julian and as soon as he sees her his mind goes straight to her. Abby jumps and as soon as she gets back up she kisses Julian. Julian has a difficult time focusing on his job after Abby leaves. He knows that Abby is the one for him. Julian takes Abby to dinner the next day and they spend the night having sex, Abby was a virgin. Abby knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Julian. Three months later Julian proposed and their story continues. Will Abby continue to work in the bakery? Will Julian and Abby stay in Greene Mountain with their family? Will Julian and Abby find love and happiness as soulmates in Greene Mountain.

Abby was ready for a new start so she headed to Greene Mountain where she saw Julian and fell for him. From the moment Julian sees Abby he is instantly attracted to her. This is a sweet, instalove, mountain man romance with likable characters, steam, and a happily ever after with a double epilogue. Falling in the Mountains is book eight in the Greene Mountain Boys series. I love this series and I hope we get more Greene Mountain men romances to read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Cute, just like the rest

Loved the plot, and really enjoyed the story between the two characters. I've been waiting a few weeks for this book so that I could read it, but I am disappointed at the end of the book. It felt so rushed when it came to them being together.
We got like 2-3 scenes and then next thing you know it's been months. Then more months. Then years.
It just felt extremely rushed compared to the rest of the series.
