Leave which lasts all of five minutes when a phone call from a teammate sends him to Paris to rescue Adalyn Cassidy and her son, Sam. Changing things up on the fly and living life at a hundred miles an hour is typically his jam. He’ll rescue the divorced author and her kid, send them home, and get back to his vacation. It was supposed to be a first author signing for Adalyn’s alter ego, Saffron R. Cassidy. She doesn’t do people and isn’t overly thrilled about crowds, but she’ll figure it out as she goes, and hope she doesn’t screw up too much. Passing up the opportunity to be the headline signing author in Paris, a signing which could skyrocket her publishing career, would be a stupid move… right? So how did it all go so wrong? She’s been beaten, her son is missing, and she has to rely on a complete stranger to save them. A stranger who could have stepped right out of the pages of one of her books. Can you fall in love at first sight? Rory did when he was sent to Paris to save Eedana's best friend, Adalyn Cassidy and her son, Sam. Adalyn was severely beaten and left naked in a park, and Sam had been kidnapped. Adalyn is a strong woman and wants to go look for her son but is not physically able. Rory calms her down and they wait for his team to arrive. She is stubborn and wants to leave the hospital. Rory and Dalton talk to the doctor and tells him they have a medic with them, Aria - yah right! The MD reluctantly approves her to leave the hospital. She wants to find her RV Van, Sally, to get her clothes and other things she needs, and show them the grocery store they were at when all this started. They find Sally and the team goes to check it out and find a note written that they will not get Sam back unless it's in exchange for Lina. I think not. Adalyn is beside herself. They go to Paris and stay in Lina's friend's apartment. Rory goes out to get food and sees King. He follows him to a hotel and calls Dalton. They are sitting in the bar talking when two guys show up and want Dalton to meet with King in his apartment. I think not. Dalton takes them out and King shows up. They can't take them out in front of everyone, so they walk out. Dalton calls his dad and tells him what they need. They moved to another hotel, and his dad picks up Adalyn and takes her to an island where Noble's team is stationed. Trevor finds out that King is scheduling a human trafficking auction that includes Sam. The team is immediately ready to take off and stop it and secure Sam. The ending is fun. This book reminds you to read this series in order or you may lose track of new characters that were mentioned in previous books.

One my favorite authors is at it again and knocked it our of the park! It’s been a couple weeks since I reviewed and MF book and I just so happened to finish it the day before it’s set to release!

This is Nemesis Alpha Team book 4 and it follows Rory who if I recall from the previous books is more in the background generally and more reserved. When he’s sent to Paris to rescue a divorced author and her son and bring them home he thought he was in for an easy couple days and he can get back to his RR. What he didn’t expect was to meet his match in more ways than one. He arrives to find her beaten and her son missing and it pulls at every protective instinct he has, something he’s never felt before. You will fall in love with the gentle giant Rory, protective mama bear Adalyn and the quick on the uptake little boy Sam, who will definitely pull on your heart strings . You’ve got love, found family, danger, kidnapping, and for my fellow operators the over arching plot that we’ve read about since Lina’s book, you’ll see some friendly faces and some enemies alike. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the rest of nemesis.

A journey of twists and fear, pain in more than one way, a child missing a mother desperate to get him back and Rory the first one on scene to help her. An old enemy and a new one. Violence and a memory gap don't help to clarify what happened but clues along the way gradually unfold some of the why's. The team work hard with Trev behind the scenes keeping me fixated on reading this, it's suspenseful and heartbreaking, it's also sweet and romantic. There are a few really funny light hearted sections that just had me smiling big and others that had tears running down my face, some of those while smiling as well. Steady pace and flow that speeds up at certain points that definitely got me sitting up and focused as events unfolded. I'd like to know if they had 'Sally', shipped home, she was so important to them. Rory was awesome as he held, listened and supported but also stood up to his boss, i actuality think it made his boss respect him and the reasons more than he already did. Adalyn is so strong, I admired that, Sam was her everything but she didn't go to pieces she faught, despite the pain of injuries as well as not knowing what had happened or where her boy was she faught. I absolutely loved this it is emotionally charged throughout and there is a lot going on and various help as the story moves through the stages but firm bonds were built between the characters that will hopefully carry on.

Adalyn and her son, Sam, have been traveling in a RV van as she writes her bestselling books, and exploring Europe. Their quick stop to pick up groceries in Paris turns into a nightmare. Adalyn wakes up injured, naked and her son missing. A phone call to her best friend has help on the way.

Rory jumps on a plane from Morocco to assist his teammate’s wife’s friend. He walks into her hospital room a single guy not looking for a relationship and within moments his alpha protector instinct has been triggered and he’s all in on protecting his woman.

The Nemesis team arrive to protect Adalyn, and to find her young son. An old enemy makes an appearance and storyline gets fast-paced and full of intriguing action while both Rory and Adalyn try to adjust to an instant attraction.

This storyline is a standalone, but would be best enjoyed after reading the prior books in the series. I loved the action, intrigue and occasional lighter moments. The author uses suspense and humor to keep a readers full attention. I loved the interactions between Rory and young Sam. Adalyn’s interactions with the Nemesis team are epically funny at times.

Do you believe in love at first sight?
It is love at first sight; it is attraction at first sight. It is Rory’s and Adalyn’s (and Sam’s) story and I loved it! I read it in just a day and was left ones again amazed by Bella’s words. Rory is book #4 in the Nemesis Inc. Alpha Team series. It is a fast, emotional, funny, strong, full of hard decisions story. It is about trust, love and family, found family and the lengths you are willing to go to save the ones you love, the ones you came to care about in a flash of an eye! This story has mint chip ice cream, Captain America, Paris, the GPS lady, a yellow duckie and so so much more. Rory, together with his team, will do their best to rescue Adalyn’s son because there is so much in jeopardy.
What I love most about Bella’s books is that I always get to see and catch up with characters from her other Teams / series joining the main characters in their adventure. If you want to lose yourself for a couple of hours and disconnect, then this is the book for you! Thank you once again Bella for a great story!

Ideally, read the books in order, you will understand the characters and storyline a lot better.

I absolutely love Rory and Adalyn. When Adalyn is attacked and wakes up with her son missing, her friend sends Nemesis to help her.

Rory is not looking for love or relationship but Adalyn and also Sam just sneak up on him and before he knows it, he would do everything for them.
Adalyn is the personification of a Momma Bear and while wary about relationships can't help with trusting Rory.

There is instant attraction but I like how both are dealing with it in the middle of a kidnapping and how real it feels.

As usual there is fast action, very funny scenes where you wonder where the author gets her inspiration from.
The book keeps you on your feet and it's defintely one you want to read in one sitting.

There are small cameos of her Red Squadron characters.

I can't wait for the next one.

Rory *Mokaccino* Costa ended a successful mission last night and was ready to start vacation immediately but got a phone call ordering him to Paris; Eedana’s friend author Adalyn Cassidy who traveled around Europe with her son Sam were in big trouble. Adalyn had been found naked, beaten and in a park, Sam nowhere around with no one looking for him. With the rest of the team on the way, Rory gets the basics while fighting his attraction for the woman.

The guys are lucky enough to gain a couple of clues and a ‘chance’ sighting of King motivates the team and lets Nemesis’ true self peek out of the protector mask. With two high value captures, in the same city one of which could do serious harm to the other, the boys have to choose wisely. To my taste, this outing had a strong story despite a couple of holes (unless I missed the filling), the Rory/Sam talk was really cute but avoided it by not having a ‘cute’ kid to begin with.

Although I greatly anticipated this book in this series about “Bootsy,” Eedana’s author friend, I found the story to be rather lackluster. The romance between Rory and Adalyn developed instantly, after Rory was tasked with protecting her after she and her son were kidnapped in Paris. Adalyn was beaten and released with her son stilling missing. The story revolved around Rory and his teammates finding and rescuing Adalyn’s son. Rory was smitten at first sight, but the romance brakes stayed on until Adalyn’s son was returned to her, and at the very end of the book, Rory and Adalyn FINALLY gave into their chemistry and instalove in their first moment alone after her son was rescued. So, not much heat, only some sweet. The story was mostly centered around the suspense plot. The romance and suspense plots were just okay. The highlight to this book were the characters, but I wish the plot had been as well-developed as the characters.

Bella does it again. She takes us to Team Nemesis because they still have single members.lol.
Adalyn is Dana's bff and single mum and romance writer. However, on the way to a signing in Paris, France tragedy has struck and her son is taken. Rory is the only one near her so he hitches a ride with one of our favorite teams and goes to play her man and find her son. However, he walks in her hotel room and BAM he is smitten. We all know when Bella's heroes heroines find their HEA. Yep you got it! When its found that King is up to his tricks it will take several teams to get Sam to safety. Look for some familiar faces. As with all of this author's teams its not an easy road to HEA.

I loved finally getting to read Rory’s story and see Team Nemesis back in action.

He was supposed to be on some RR and the next thing Rory knows is that he is showing up in a hospital room posing as the husband of the beaten women lying in the bed before him, with her sonmissing. All the emotions and the banter between Rory and Adalyn is on par and to see someone other than Lina put Nem in his place - oh how I loved it.

The team is back in action and old enemies are up to new tricks, I could not put this book down and it did not disappoint.

This is another great addition to the series,Rory is on vacation so is the closest to help when Dana’s friend needs help, he heads to Paris to help and sparks fly, the story kept me on the edge of my seat with just the right amount of chemistry, banter, action and excitement, when the antagonist is revealed, everyone pulls together to make sure that there will be a hea, no other outcome will do. Another great read would highly recommend.

What starts out as just an assignment for Rory ends up being so much more when he comes face to face with Adalyn. With grit and determination finding her son alive is a requirement but finding what he was missing in his life is exactly what he never thought was missing. With wonderful characters, a storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat and a perfect balance of action and devotion this was a wonderful read. A great addition to the series.

Great series

You will definitely get into each story in this series and as you start at the beginning you will find yourself so engaged in what happens to the characters that you will keep the pages turning! It is so much the bad things that happen everyday but you never rarely see it in the news these stories are TBE men and women who fight to make it right you will so enjoy the journey

Enjoyed

Enjoyed the story. In fact I stayed up too late just so I could finish it. Was VERY glad that it focused on plot and not steamy scenes. Though, that said, the steamy scene wording was a bit..... too earthy(?) for my taste which is what lowered my rating to 3 stars as it distracted me from the story. Prefer slightly nicer wording. Am willing to try another of her books.

This book was wonderful! Loved Rory, Adelina and Sam. Seemed like they were meant to be a family. His teammates and wives made this book even more special. Loved their love and support of each other.

Good addition to the series. The story line was a little heavier than some of her other books. Not awful, but just a little different. Rory and Adalyn, and Sam were great characters and I enjoyed this book. It was a little less steamy than some of her other books, but still a good read.
