Delicious desserts can brighten even the gloomiest of days, and the Wright Cousins are prepared to bring others as much joy as they can. This companion to the Wright Cousin Adventures series invites readers into the kitchen to create mouth watering treats with some of their favorite characters. Subdivided into sections for cookies, ice cream, drinks, and more, readers are sure to find a favorite new recipe to try. The ingredients lists are relatively brief, and the instructions are accessible to both children and adults. At the beginning of the book, readers learn that the included recipes come from generations of the author's own family, and readers are encouraged to work together to create these treats in their own kitchen. Throughout the book, readers will find references to the Wright Cousins in dialogue, Easter eggs, and fun activities that can be completed while items are baking in the oven. Additionally, lined pages are added to the end of each segment for readers to include recipes of their own. No matter whether readers have enjoyed the Wright Cousin Adventures yet or not, they are sure to find a new favorite recipe among those included in this book. This is an excellent addition to family kitchens, and it can be enjoyed throughout the year.
