What was supposed to be a vacation, instead, turns into a quest for survival as the three men are stalked by a creature that astounds their imaginations. Now on the run, Bill must make difficult choices in order to survive the game that is life and death.
I thought this cautionary tale of complacency was more interesting in theory than in execution. The story was average, and the character development seemed minor. At times the back and fourth between characters to me seemed a little clunky. However, I was surprised at how things wrapped up. A part of me thought that he might have imagined the whole trip and it was all symbolic for the beast in him for depression or something. Either way, it was a decent quick read.
