Devil Lady #6

Devillady n. 6

Rate this book

I'm pleased with Hayami's fatuous love towards Jun and the humor from it. It feels though that the series is regressing into clunky dialogue and repetitive plots.

Rating Update 3/30/2019 - 3 to 2 stars. After having looked back on the volume, I remember the snake beast arc being a bit boring and the beginning of the snow arc was very repetitive. Having Asuka in trouble was a positive but the snow arc kept going back and forth on ambush to counter ambush to run here to run there.

Update 19 May 2019
I rated sections of the volume to find a cumulative rating for the novel. Here are the rated sections with the pages numbers roughly corresponding:
Pages 1-70 Two stars
Pages 70-120 One star
Pages 120-170 One star
Pages 170-220 Three stars

The cumulative rating for the volume was 1.78 stars. I will leave the rating at two stars.

Update 28 May 2019
From the previous update, I felt that a three star rating for pages 170-220 was too generous, so I reduced it to two stars. The cumulative rating was 1.55 stars, which allows for this volume to retain a two star rating.

Update
With the adoption of my new rating system, a two star rating is befitting. The original review and updates conform to the new rating system. I have looked through my "Devilman Lady Abridged" folder to remind myself of this volume's content. The individual ratings for the pages, explained in the updates explains the justification behind a two star rating, albeit a weak two star rating.
