5 ★ | Bale has such a way with words. In such few at that. Also, proactively making the love interest jealous? Absolutely! 🤭 Short stint novella. Great quick read as always!

This novella was short and to the point, similar to the rest of the series. I liked it, but know what you’re getting into; it’s a few spicy scenes wearing a trench coat with a little dash of plot and character. This was the perfect thing for when I need a quick shot of plot and storyline to break up a bit of a reading slump. I’m rating this novella based on the fact that it delivered exactly what I expected, following what it promised; short, spicy, entertaining. This was not a great work of literature.
I LOVED the first two chapters. I think that the “third-chance romance” angle was delightful, and I really loved how this was done.
On the other hand, did they need to make the protagonist a cheater?? If this was a “more serious” novel I would probably deduct a lot more points for this, but meh. This novella was also overly simplistic and used FAR too much instalove for my liking…. but once again, its what I expected for such a short little story.

Very sweet for BDSM themed f/f action packed and piping hot short read.
Reba Bale has produced a very spicy short read that is just perfect. It is the first of hers that I have read and certainly will not be the last! In such a short piece I did not expect to find characters that grabbed my attention. Well done Ms Bale.

I didn’t know “third chance romance” was a thing, lol. But it worked! Even though the first two encounters were quite brief (this whole thing was only about 80 pages), they gave the story some weight so the third time around didn’t feel quite so absurdly instalovey. I mean, it’s there in the title, it’s not like I don’t know what I’m getting into here, but that’s usually the part that works least well for me, and this time around, I didn’t have that reaction.
For a short-ish story, this had lovely characters and a decent amount of drama and a funny and rewarding resolution. Plus there was the Cap’n Crunch! But seriously, it was a nice mix of backstory, encounters at the club, working through things with friends, some cameos from the book 1 characters, an epilogue, and so on. There was a lot going on in not a lot of pages, and it was well done and fun.

4 stars. This was a great installment to the series. I thought both Tracie and Angela were both wonderful characters and their chemistry was so hot. Great sex scenes and I liked that they had a history with each other. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Fated: A Lesbian Romance (Club Surrender Book 3) by Reba Bale This book is about love the second or third time around. It is finally hitting while the fire is hot. It is cute. It does include some minor BDSM. Nothing outrageous that would send the squeamish running away.
