I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.
Despite how many of us once had a great passion for the Lord, but due to the circumstances we’ve had to face, our passion has withered and we’ve gone astray.
ISAIAH 53:6 [ESV] states:
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Now that those of you who have realized what has transpired and might wish to rejoin His flock and once again recoup the fervent passion you once had in your relationship with the Lord, are in all probability seeking some guidance and leadership so you can once again be filled with the Holy Spirit’s fervor and enthusiasm.
Understanding there are scores of individuals like those I’ve just mentioned, author David Lee Martin was driven to write this book with the knowledge he possesses and the guidance of the Lord. Not as moving as 1st in the series
I found this book to be average, and not as inspiring as his first book of this series of five. None of the material seemed fresh or unique to me. I felt as if I was reading a summary of A. W. Tozer's books and sermons. I will read more of the series, as I did enjoy the first book on developing a prayer practice.
