This ebook would recount the author's challenging but ultimately triumphant journey from HIV and AIDS to a diagnosis of tuberculosis and eventual recovery. It would emphasize themes of resilience, faith, and the importance of a support system in overcoming life's toughest obstacles.
As everyone else on here, I read this after finishing Everything is TB. The kindle format was a mess and whole passages were repeated, yet the first hand account is still touching. I will be looking for another copy to give this a proper read and rating.
The kindle format of this book was horrendous, but maybe that was due to a translation issue. I’m not entirely sure. I decided to read this book after hearing about Henry’s journey in John Green’s book titled Everything is Tuberculosis. This memoir is short and sweet. It is very repetitive, which might also be an issue from someone other than the author, but there are some enlightening tidbits in here. After I do some more digging on this memoir to make sure it’s legit and maybe find another copy that has a better format, I may change my review.
I enjoyed reading the book/short essay written by this courageous young man to whom I was introduced in John Green’s latest book. I ran to check it out and finished it right away. He has excellent prose and perspective and I hope to continue to hear how well he is excelling in his life.
