Stella Gray has always had her head in the clouds and has been writing since she was in high school. A contemporary romance author, she loves dark romances with morally gray men. When she’s not writing, she’s either in the kitchen testing out a new baking recipe or spending time in the great outdoors.
This is the second set of three books in the Bellanti Brothers series. This time it’s about Marco and Karina.
Karina is a Bruno (a mob family that has beef with the Bellantis). She’s set to marry another man when she runs into Marco at a racing event. This leads to an illicit affair.
On Karina’s wedding day, Marco spirits her away and secretly marries her. This starts a war with the Bruno family.
In the meantime, Livvie, Frankie’s sister is kidnapped. They get her back and things quiet down for a minute. Then Karina is kidnapped by her family and told to spy on the Brllantis. There’s a lot of back and forth violent episodes between the family.
However, a lot of the problems the family faced were because there was a mole. This book ends naming the mole. Which leads to the last series of three books in the collection.
BTW, while I enjoyed this book. I liked Dante and Frankie’s book better. I like spunky, can do women. Karina is not one. Now I’m onto the next book.
