When Sandi Rogers attempted suicide, she had no idea that the experience would provide her with an unlimited capacity for living, learning, and loving. Now Sandi shares lessons everyone can use to promote understanding, love, compassion and the basic goodness of the Golden Rule. Foreword by Betty Eadie, author of Embraced by the Light.
According to Ms. Rogers her purpose was to write hers and others' insights from their Near Death Experiences (NDE) in the search of a 'common thread' that unites the religions of the world.
Ms. Rogers has included a section entitled 'On Angels' which states: "Angels [from all religions] only need to be asked to intervene in your life and are sent to bring wisdom." This is great knowledge that we all should practice in asking for 'divine intervention'.
A second quote states "A sinner is indebted to the hurt person to the effect of the sin." This sounds like divine justice, but what about 'cruelty to animals' and the sins inflected upon them by humans...especially farm animals and other animals brutally terrorized & violently slaughteted for meat?
This is a great book, but she neglects to mention the suffering souls of animals that are so entwined with humans. More please. I would imagine that animal spirits have an afterlfe too since we love them so much.
