Wow! This was the cutest read ever! I usually do not go for small town romances, but when I do, I only hope they are just like this.

I fell in love with Finn and Raena. And even though I hated the way Simon acted, he was likable too, because in the end he did care for Raena.

You can pretty much guess who my least favorite characters were if you read it ... it hit home a bit though, so I hated them even more 😆

Finn and Raena were everything you would expect from 2 people who run into each other again after time has gone on. It was cute to see them pick up where they left off and evolve their relationship into what it ended up being in the end.

This is my 2nd book by the author, and I have to say I am loving her writing so much after this one.

Raena has become a successful business developer and comes back to the mountain to help the family business, although she hates her brother and father. While there, she crosses paths with Finn, the game warden for the area - just maybe the trip will not be in vain. Feelings skyrocket with entertaining situations, chemistry and caring, supporting personalities. Those two make it through all the obstacles thrown at them with heartwarming protective decisions. Terrific storyline and great ending.

Raena has to save he family’s business in her hometown which is in the mountains. She doesn’t get on with them, but meeting the game warden may change things…

Good premise and plot. It kept me curious and invested in the story.

I don’t know where this went wrong for me. I just could not finish it. I took me at least three days to read and it shouldn’t have. It felt drawn out maybe? I don’t know. I love age gaps and “forbidden” romances. This wasn’t even a long book.
