This book is truly inspiring, and it is refreshing to hear from preachers that they, too, have messy parts in their lives.. just like us! I strongly recommend this book to all mothers and daughters - the daily inspiration and reflection leads you on a path to hope and clarity... Debbie and Elaine, thank you for sharing personal stories that show that we are all human, we face similar struggles, but one thing is always true... Jesus is with us, He never leaves us, and He can turn every mess into a message of love.
This devotional is a reflection of what happens in real life but how God's Word is put into application that anyone can understand. With this, I learned that there's beauty in having a journey with our messes with God's presence because that magnifies that God goes with us.
Such a raw, honest, and relatable devotional!! I highly recommend this to any woman struggling through a busy or difficult season. The authors’ stories will inspire you to seek God in the middle of your chaos.
I read the last 3/4 of this devotional book straight through while on a flight. It’s very inspiring to read that way. I’m a pastor’s wife with two sons and a daughter like Debbie so it was as relatable as a book could be.
Enjoy a beautiful devotional for mothers and daughters—The Good Mess. Few writers are so vulnerable about the struggles moms and their girls go through. It is lovely and refreshing!
I enjoyed this book, it will be a great devotional however I just read it straight through. I loved the funny stories and all have depth leading to the Lord.
