This is the sixth installment of this series. I can’t really say that it is an interconnected standalone, but I can’t really say it is a complete standalone. The story itself is considered a complete standalone, because the main and side characters don’t interact with previous characters in the series. The prologue and epilogue on the other hand, I would consider interconnected. So for more appreciation and an enjoyable experience, I recommend reading the series in order.

Now, onto the review..I really enjoyed this treasure hunt that I was taken on. While learning a bit more than I thought I already knew about mythology (which has happened with each book and I have enjoyed every book in the series so far), I also got an eye opener about what the true treasure of life is.

I loved that Thea and Lock crossed paths. I loved that they were oil and water in personality. But I really loved how Lock helped Thea to find her joy and her strength in herself. I loved that Thea helped Lock to realize that his inner thoughts and feelings about himself weren’t true and that he could be a hero instead of a thief in more ways than what he thought.

I loved Lock’s playful and joking side. His flirting game was perfect for his personality. I loved the supporting characters and their magical abilities, jokes and goofiness. The bad guy was not who I expected and I loved how Eden Royale gave hints but then made me second guess myself on who the villain was.

I have loved that with each book, not only do we get the HEA for the main characters, but usually we get to see the budding relationship of the friends to the demigods as well. Another plus is that the budding relationship between Zephyr and Iris has me hooked and loving the way their relationship is playing out and developing. So we are actually getting 3 romances in one!

I’m excited to see how the Zephyr and Iris navigate their feelings while also working together to help save Olympus and the world by helping fate to bring the next mortal and demigod to cross paths. I was provided an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was the 6th book in the Sons of Olympus series. Locke is the demigod of thieves and tricksters (descendantof Hermes), and his goal is to return the treasures of the heart that have been lost, thus returning light to the world. A much nobler objective and description than a common no-go-troublemaker or thief. Due to bad management, however, the Shadow Thieves have been left to scramble and try and redeem themselves in the eyes of others.

Thea has always wanted an adventure and to follow in her father's footsteps. He was a great treasure hunter but he went missing when she was young. When Locke approaches Thea, she us weary but desperate enough to join forces with the thief. Will she see the truth in him before its to late for them all?

This series of novels are enjoyable, creative, educational, and contain a morality lesson as well. The descriptions are captivating and characters are very well developed (even the secondary characters). It is easy to become invested and to root for them, to feel their setbacks, and celebrate their successes. I am very much looking forward to the final book in the series set in the Underworld with Zoe and Shadow (descendant of Hades).

Cute and bantery. Reads on the younger more playful side.


This was a fun and refreshing book. It has adventure, love, and witty banter. It’s a great low stakes plot that allows you to immerse and enjoy without pulling you out of the comedic and witty world of the characters.

Thea seeks a great adventure. But she’s overlooking to one right in front of her. Locke is tired of being seen as a thief and living in shadows. Learning to embrace the best parts of themselves and believe in themselves and each other is the best part of the story.

And Zephyr and Iris. I’m beginning to love the prologue and epilogue as much as the whole book!

Can’t wait for the next one. And you should jump into this world if you haven’t yet.

There are so many things I loved about this book! As has been the case in all of the Sons of Olympus books, the imagery & story were amazing! But I also loved how the characters saw in each other what each didn't see in themselves; they believed in each other beyond each character's self belief. In my life, I've been fortunate to have those who saw in me what I couldn't see in myself - and that's a gift of immeasurable value.

That was crazy!! I never expected it 2 turn out that way at all!! She lost everything including her only family, her dad. But in the quest 2 try 2 find him and try 4 a adventure, she found a shadow thief. Can she learn 2 trust her heart 2 not only him but 2 find out how 2 live her life like it was meant 2 b or stay in the gloom 4ever? Read and find out. It was really good. I was impressed by his magical side kick. Lol can they beat the evil back b4 it's 2 late? Well, u'll never know until u read it. It'll keep u guessing...

Thea always wanted adventure and to follow in her fathers footsteps treasure hunting, he went missing when she was a child and never got answers. Loche is the demi god of thieves, him and his band of men are on earth returning light to the world through the return of lost treasures. When these two meet Thea is weary but can working together bring them closer? Well written engaging mystery suspense, desires and more a great addition to the series

Outstanding series and great story! Thea and Locke make such a great team and couple. The worldbuilding and descriptions are like I'm there and I so want to go to these places-Greece is #1 on my bucket list. I have enjoyed these stories so much and can't wait to read more!! Highly recommend!!

Treasure of the heart... need I say more. WOW!! Just WOW! Once again Eden Royal brought us a story that is not only entrancing, full of romance, mischief and trickery but also action packed with a captivating message. Thea is such a strong, fearless, stubborn and passionate young woman yearning for adventure, excitement and the thrill of finding the world's greatest treasure to be a hero, what she doesn't realize is that not all is what it seems. Thea will learn the biggest lesson in her quest to finding what she has lost and the ride she takes us on is glorious, enthralling, and so worth the journey. Locke and his Shadow Thieves friends Violet and Tricky are so much fun to read, their excitement is contagious, their trickery and magic is exciting, shocking and their banter hilarious. Locke is a handsome trickster in search of what they once lost, his tempting luring ways enthrall not only Thea but our hearts as well. The message behind this book is beautiful and inspirational and so very true, this quoted " you need to listen to your hearts" really touched the very soul of my heart. What a wonderful world would we all live in if every soul followed their heart, accepted and respected everyone. I loved Thea and Locke banter, their irresistible chemistry and passion. This book has it all, magic, shapeshifter, betrayal, trickery, mischief, friendship, misfits, amazing treasures, treasures of the heart and romance. I loved the history, ancient relics and gods. Fantastic book. This author Eden did it once again with author amazing story. I was on the edge of my seat as it was a page turner and the suspense was marvelous. It was addicted. OMG! This is a magical romantic fantasy with a spice of adventure. I absolutely loved it . Sexy and sassy characters you just going to fall in love with these characters. It was a mystery they have to solve together but he thought that he will fall in love as Locke was the descent of Hermes who was trickster and theives. Will Locke risks his heart and souls for love or will he go back home to delivery this light in his world?
I hope that is will be another book as I hope it is not the end of this series I need more Greek Mythology stories more then ever!!! I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I think this is my 2nd fav book in the series behind Smoke Jumper.
Think Hercules (quests and demi-god) mixed with a litte Indiana Jones/Oceans 11 (heists and historical artefacts).

I still really want Zephyr and Iris's story because their frenemies relationship lends itself to something that could be explosive ❤️
