I still love this series so much, but damn are these chapters dragging. I’m not getting nearly enough of my fave Canadians, and all of the strategizing is lowkey boring. If they showed both what is happening inside and outside the training then it would make the pace better, but right now they’re all still in their training cells for the away mission. Some parts really be dragging. A lot of chapters are just them talking about the homework they have that day, special assignments, etc. It’s just not that interesting 😭

Really hope we can get back to the action soon.

I like World Trigger, but it slowed down so much. I low key was bored reading this entire volume because after 26 volumes, I am ready for them to go to the neighbors world, but this arc seems to have no end in sight. Will we ever see them join the away team???

I'm really glad I have a good memory for plot...

So we're still on Phase 1 of the Away Mission Selection Test where our teams are shuffled and put in a sealed environment. One team is currently dominating the scores while others are struggling to make progress at all.

Just call this one the solution brainstorming chapter and the solutions seem to be working. At this point, I'm just glad we have a little bit of action. Like, this story is really good, but being drip-fed content that is prep for the main plot is agonizing!

The number of characters in the squads is pretty amazing...and to make it coherent and move forward even more so...
Though it's about time this section should be wrapped up..
