Where do I even start? First of all, a massive thank you to the lovely Claire Ivy for giving me an ARC of this book!! It arrived just when I needed it💕
If you love reading about couples who get a second chance at love, YOU MUST READ this book. The yearning, the resentment, the angst, the connection, all the ups and downs that this couple faced were spot on! The chemistry/tension between them was ELECTRIC and felt so real. These two were like magnets, constantly drawn to each other.💞
I loved reading about the difficulties both characters faced on their journey back to each other. There was a lot of anger and hurt, some unfortunate misunderstandings but even more LOVE. Their love for each other never faded. I couldn’t help but to cheer for their inevitable reunion.
We have a stubborn, heartbroken hero who’s struggling to get past his heartbreak and a heroine who’s fighting to fix what had to be broken years before (she had a good reason, I promise). Wren’s dedication to Knox was one of my favourite things about this story. She fought for their love🥺. Both characters loved and protected each other fiercely. Honestly, they are my favourite characters by Claire. Okay, they’re my favourites after Callan😄 (I’m still waiting for his story Claire, ahem).
So many hearts were affected by this couple’s journey. We’re reunited with our favourite hockey players, friends and family members. The way the entire group rallied behind this couple’s reunion and never gave up on them made their story even more special. I’m not the best at writing reviews, and I really don’t want to give anything away, but I PROMISE THIS STORY IS WORTH IT! It’s my top hockey romance release of 2023💙. I swooned, I smiled, I got teary eyed, I cheered and I felt all the emotions.

Book 3 in the Wolves Hockey Series exceeded all my expectations. This slow burn is full of angst, second chances, and soulmate kinda love. I was hanging off every word and couldn’t read fast enough. Claire continues to write the most exceptional family in The Maddens. I’ve truly fallen for them all. Their banter always has me cracking up, but their love for one another is unmatched. Knox and Wren were written in the stars, and I’m so glad they finally found their way back to each other!

Knox & his Dream Girl
I am absolutely head over heels in love with Knox. I swooned so hard for him once he got his act together but a few times I wanted to punch him so hard. He was the absolute worst there for a bit and I wasn’t prepared for my lovable playboy to be so cruel and awful but he had to go through it to get back to his love.
Wren is by far my favorite FMC of Claire’s. She loves so deeply and is so resilient after everything that her dad and life has stolen from her. He dad is a total POS but I also get that he has demons. She absences everything to protect Knox from him and he absolutely kept taking and taking from here.
I loved how Wren and Knox met again. It was awkward and tense and emotional on all fronts and the emotion and angst kept ramping up from there. Wren is so incredibly strong for putting herself out there to get him back. I loved how she pushed him but also my heart hurt for them both after his hateful words every time. Knox groveling and making up for lost time was worth it though. The mouth on this man will make those butterflies take flight. I loved his dominance and possessiveness of Wren even at their worst and definitely at their api y best.
I always love to see the Maddens and the team but I desperately need a Scott and Jenna book after all those tidbits about them. Also, what’s up with Hollywood? He was super sus for a bit there so I hope he is up to something yummy!

The Madden family is back! This time it’s Knox’s turn and his story is an emotional one!
Oh, Knox! This poor man had his heart ripped out and I felt for him every step of the way! But don’t worry, both of our hearts were put back together by the end.
Wren was such a great character! I loved her complexity, her nerve, and her love for all things Poe.🐦⬛
These two haven’t stopped loving each other in the years they’ve been separated, so their first meeting was more than a little tense. But through their emotions, you can still feel the love…even through Knox’s walls.
Knox goes THROUGH IT when Wren comes back into his life, but the Madden siblings don’t let him go through it alone. They may be meddling, but they have each other’s back - always!

This is my first book by this author and omg, it won't be my last! I devoured this book and was drawn in by the storyline!
Wren and Knox. These two have been through the wringer and back again. But, that didn't stop them from still loving each other. Knox sure was stubborn though haha. He held onto to his anger and hurt that he got from Wren's actions back in their Senior year of high school. Six years later and Wren pops back into Knox's life. That sent him into another downward spiral that his family, teammates, and friends were trying to save him from. His brothers and sister ask Wren to help after hearing the truth of why she did what she did back then.
This leads her on a journey to win back Knox and get him to listen to her and why she did what she did. This book pulled on my heartstrings and oh my goodness, it was a long journey for these two.
However, once Knox finally got his head out of his you know what, he finally went to Wren and listened to her. After all, Knox suffered with a broken heart and was so hurt he couldn't see or hear what Wren was trying to tell him or what his friends/family were trying to tell him.
This book was so good. I was all here for the spice and their chemistry was amazing!

THIS BOOK!!! I wasn't sure that anyone could top Casey Madden or Gunner Grey, But let me introduce you to Mr. KNOX FREAKING MADDEN!!! I knew i was going to love him the minute i met him in the previous books!! (Once I was done wanting to smack some sense into him, how can you not fall in love with him!)
THIS MAN!!! is hot as sin, fire on the ice, with a f*ck boy attitude. But under all that swagger is a broken heart that is so badly needing to heal.
Wren, my heart. The strength this woman possesses. I'm not quite sure how she's still standing. Her wings are clipped and she's just trying to survive each day!
The road to happily ever after is not easy for these two. While their love runs deep, Knox has his buried deep. Second chance, enemies to lovers, hockey. It's twists and turns, angsty and slow burn. It's a rollercoaster of emotions but it's it one hell of a book! And to watch these two pick up the pieces and find that epic love again! Yes!!! It's found family for Wren. It's family, friends, teammates banded together and the bond that they have runs deep and does not break even when its been battered and torn!!! Book 3 in the series & Claire delivered a freaking hat trick!! Absolutely a must read!! If I've said it once I've said it again... I'm collecting wolves!!! Which means I'm going to need more Wolves... and probably a few spin offs!!! Because I'm invested and obsessed with these characters and I need them all to have HEAs.

3rd in the wolf series we get to know Knox more after reading the other two book in the series, we know he was hurt when he was a teenager but now we get to find out how.
Knox and Wren story had me hooked, Claire has written these characters perfectly for me it melted my heart when we get to see these two finally talk about there break up and the why’s .
Wren character I just wanted to hug, but I was Happy the Madden’s were there for her.
I don’t want to spoil this so no more all i will say is give it a read it won’t disappoint and the bonus is you get see other charters from Book 1 and 2

Another brilliant read from Claire Ivy. Bad Wolf is book 3 of The Wolves Hockey series and is just as binge worthy as the first 2. This is a story of teenage love, heartbreak and second chances. The story hits on some hard hitting topics but I just love the family and friends group and how they all rally around each other for support when needed. If you love a sports romance with spice, hot possessive mmc, women who are beautiful both inside and out and a happy ending, get this added to your TBR, you won't be disappointed.

Claire does it again! Knox and Wren’s story was a slow burn and an explosive love ❤️ it was a second chance romance and Wren definitely put in the work to win her man back! it was one of my favorites and I could not put it down!

This was kind of a mess ill be honest. I should have stopped reading when the author started her American patriotic nonsense. I did not like Knox at all, he’s a manor manwhore and lacks so much depth. And Wren, it was sad to see her drop everything for him when I personally think he didn’t deserve it. What about her life…? Anyhoo I think Knox expected too much from her

When Claire sent me a copy of this book, I literally screamed my head off! I was so ready to dive back into this world after rereading the other 2 books in this series!🤩
We get to see our Knox being funny and a charmer in the other books, but we see a different and darker side of him in BW. The choices that were made in the past hurt Knox, and we see him struggling with seeing Wren again. Don't worry y'all, Knox finally will get his HEA and be the guy we all love!🫠
I can't say this enough, but I LOVED Wren! She was such a strong, caring, compassionate, and loyal character. Wren's obsession with bubbles was also so freaking cute! Side note, I can't wait until y'all encounter the "hotness phenomenon" moment of the book!🤣
I love the sense of family throughout this book! No matter what, blood family and chosen family were ALWAYS there for our beloved characters!🥺❤️

Knox and Wren are high school sweethearts, each others everything. However, when they are to leave for college, Wren makes a decision, due to her families gambling, that tears them apart and fleeing down to Florida. Years later, Knox has made it in to the NHL and is vacationing in Florida with his family for a bachelor party. They decide to attend a burlesque club and who does he see, Wren.
Knox loved deeply but had such a hard time seeing the whole picture. He provided such angst because he was hurting and did not know how to work through his emotions. Such a freaking grudge holder. He never stopped loving Wren. He definitely lived up to the title of Bad Wolf..lol I wanted to smack him several times.
Although, Wren made a decision that tore them apart, she did it out of love. She never stopped loving Knox either. She was strong, caring, kind and loyal! There was nothing she wouldn't do for Knox OR his family!!!
The support of Knox's family was beyond how a family supports. Yes, they meddled cough:getting Wren to New York:cough, but it was all in good nature. They wanted Knox to get closure and/or his HEA!

Knox and Wren were childhood sweethearts. It was an all-consuming love and were planning a bright future together. But one decision changes everything, leaving them both broken hearted. Now it’s six years later and it’s time for Knox to finally learn the truth of what really happened all those years ago.
The journey to a happily ever after wasn’t an easy one for these two. The build-up and anticipation between Knox and Wren rekindling their relationship was so well written! I just couldn’t stop reading! The strong connection between them was still there, as was the intense love they shared for each other. Instantly we are finding out what has Knox in a knot, but you feel his pain and heartache. As the story unfolds you begin to piece together what happened and Wren ah, she really was trying to protect Knox & The Madden's. There interactions are hard and will leave your heart aching but hold on to your knickers because Knox is one smooth talker with a dirty mouth! 🙈😍

Can we pause and appreciate seeing a beautiful family moment and how Claire has kept Casey & Anna's journey very much alive in the follow on books. I honestly was swooning over this moment and its rawness and the love you can feel.
I honestly felt this book was full of real raw moments and it enables you to connect with the characters and feel their growth within the book. The family feel and their united front is absolutely captured my heart.

Finally got round to reading the third book in the Wolves Hockey Series...
Like the other books in the series, I was gripped from almost the very beginning!
I felt so sorry for Wren and how she had to make such a tough decision to save Knox, his family and friends from getting their reputation tarnished, due to the actions of her father, and how it basically destroyed any future she saw for herself. I was therefore so glad that was able to get out of that situation, with some help, and to change her life no matter what happened with Knox, especially when she tried so hard to get him to understand why she did what she did.
Knox was a frustrating character, just because even though his family and friends were trying to get through to him he just wouldn't listen, until it was nearly too late.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this story and also the series as a whole. Might have to reread Slow Burn now I know the full story behind all the characters.

very quick read. i've been on a grovel kick and this one was interesting because it was the FMC doing the groveling. at first i didn't know how to handle it or if i'd like it but it turned out to be quite the read. negatives that the ending was VERY abrupt and there were a couple of threads of story line that did not seem tied up at all but overall it was good!

Ploten är jättebra men för att det är en serie med mycket karaktärer är man alltid borta om vem som är vem och hur de är relaterade. Pga jag läser samtidigt kill switch ( serien) så har jag fastnat på fram och tillbaka blickar mellan förflutna och nutiden, så hade älskat om man redan fick se det i början kanske senare i boken men 0 energi

Wow wow wow! I couldn’t put this book down!! I knew I was going to love Knox’s story! The tragedy of how they fell apart and later rekindled the love they have was so good! The drama and the trauma that occurs in this book is so hard breaking 😮💨 love concurs alll indeed

Never realized that I get sucked into high school sweethearts, 💔 mess of a trope. Then adulthood romance, Knox and Wren's story is really made for those who loves so passionately and deeply but burns like hell when hurt.

I did not like the writing style, made both of them seem like children and honestly everything was rushed and all over the place. You mean to tell me at 16% she is already telling the truth to his brothers?! Naw i needed suspense and BETTER WRITING!

This book is just one big all american patriarchal fantasy of the Author. All of the characters lacked nuance or depth, most especially the female characters including our main Character Wren. Terrible
