Omnipotent: Run the Gauntlet
Paul Stewart had spent his life in the service of the Western Military Complex. He'd taken his specialties of Micro Biology and Computer Science along with his interest in modern weaponry and worked to deliver a system that could integrate command and control on an enormous scale. The ability to mesh all available sensors to absorb all information about a modern battlefield and then to seamlessly deploy the latest weapons including Particle Beam Accelerators directly from space would mean that “GAUNTLET” would be unstoppable.
The only problem may be if the “GAUNTLET” fell into the
wrong hands.
Follow Paul Stewart and his colleagues in defense in the US and Canada as they work to stop people from creating anarchy across North America. As they do so, find yourself in the pilot seat of an F35 or in the back of a Blackhawk helicopter as the author takes you into the forefront of the action.

Ian McLean
6 books3 followersIan McLean grew up in London Ontario. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in Sept of 1980 and received his Canadian Air Force wings in Sept of 1982.
Ian first flew the C 130 Hercules transport aircraft in Strategic, Tactical and Search and Rescue missions. Following this tour, he was selected to Fighter Aircraft. Having completed his training on the CF5 Freedom Fighter and the CF18 Hornet, he served extensively in the F18 community. In addition to his operational roles Mr. McLean was selected as Snowbird 7, Outer Left Wing for the 1998 and 1999 airshow seasons. He eventually returned to command the Snowbird team and Squadron for the 2005 and 2006 airshow seasons as Snowbird 1.
Mr. McLean at various times has held the highest qualification for Formation Lead status on the C130, F18 and on the Snowbird team.
Ian has an extensive background in Joint and Combined Strategic Operations Management at both the Operational and Strategic level of warfare.
Ian retired from the Canadian Forces in March of 2007.
Ian has been awarded the following decorations:
Canadian Forces Decoration with Bar;
South-West Asia Service Medal - Afghanistan
Gulf and Kuwait Medal with Bar
British Operational Service Medal for Sierra Leone
Ian has served as a Director on both the Board of Directors of Discovery Air and on the Board of Directors of the Canadian International Airshow (Toronto).
Ian and his wife Merla have two children, Robyn and Connar.

I loved this book, very interesting and a little scary at the same time. So much we don't know about what goes on behind closed government and military doors, left me curious about how much is actually already possibly and what the future holds. Looking forward to volume 2 in this series. Highly recommend!
