Fast paced, thrilling read.

Straight into a plot with Eddie being Eddie - the descriptive 1st person writing adding to the urgency and realism of the story.
And the story is a good one, re locating Eddie to various places around the UK - I'd be tired from the driving alone, aside from all the physical stuff and the M25!
Good ending, nicely done.
Enjoyed. Look forward to the next one.
Thanks Michael, and team.

Another really good mystery in the Eddie Flynn series. Eddie is asked to find a young man who has been missing for two years, with very few clues available. Not long after his investigation starts, things get weird, with representatives from two disparate groups -- an apparent Albanian crime syndicate and a multi-billion dollar business -- trying to disrupt or follow his search. And he can't find any reason for either of those groups to be interested in the missing kid.

Eddie is an admirable PI. Mostly nonviolent. But independent and impossible to intimidate. And always creative.

The plot is good. Suspenseful and sad. Ending with two pretty big surprises.

I recommend it.
