A book of poems that pulls the reader through the oscillations of love, the seasons, the clouds and the years. An incredible voice that is courageously laughing in the sad, poignant in the overwhelming and so honest throughout it all. Reading an advanced copy of Amanda Merpaw's debut collection is a sunny afternoon in a coffee shop where you can't believe the mix of songs: a gathering of fire and light. The book sparkles with diverse forms that sing songs of healing, growth, courage, passion and conjuring one's self.
