This was a very quick read, so I wish I could recommend it, but... don't waste your time.

He starts off by strongly recommending private tutors for every subject and a GED to "back up" or validate high school diplomas, and he brought up socialization as a difficulty toward the end. Everyone's path is unique, but I've never read anything pro-homeschooling that sounded less like homeschool.
