Goodreads didn’t have the English version! I skipped around a bit. I was expecting more of a 1st hand biography of keenes encounter with Larry.
What really got me was the lack of support the 2 people that was supposed to protect James Keene with. He was in solitary confinement for 2 weeks before they decided to reach out. Evidence disappeared that could have resolved a lot of stuff
3.5 rounded up! For some reason Goodreads doesn’t have the English version of this book, only the French. This is a true story about a former football standout turned drug dealer who goes to prison and is asked to befriend and inform on a serial killer in exchange for a commuted sentence. Only 218 pages, it’s a compelling day turn
I’m not sure why Goodreads doesn’t have the English version of this book. I read the audiobook version and the narrator captures the eerie voice of Larry Hall so perfectly. The TV show actually holds up very well compared to the book.
For whatever reason, Goodreads doesn’t have the English version of this book even though it’s a series on Apple plus 🤔. Thoroughly enjoyed this true story that reads like a novel.
