This is the fourth book in this impressive series, and this is Miler and Evie’s story.
Evie has always loved Miller, but he was her younger sister Selina’s boyfriend. Now a few years later Evie has her dream job, when Miller is transferred to the hockey team she works for. Can Evie keep the secrets she is hiding?
This is a well written story easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, angst, drama, tension, secrets, challenges, revelations, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and fun addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Wowsers, what a ride! I could not put this book down. There are so many twists and secrets that keep popping up, it keeps you vested in Evie's and Millers story
Selena, Evie's sister is dating Hottie McHottie, Hockey star, Miller Wentworth. He is so god damn gorgeous he hurts Evie's eyes. (her words, not mine lol) She fell insta in love with him, but being the boy friend of her "little" sister, he is definitely off limits.
Selena has secrets and she passes the mantle onto her sister whom she loves and trusts implicitly.
Trouble with secrets they most always come out and hurt those close to you.
When Miller ends up in the same city, playing for the same hockey team Evie is working for, fate seemed to come calling. He also has had past erotic dreams about Selena's older sister, and when Selena ghosted him not once but twice, he declared all Salvatore sisters off limits...BUT,
Evie is right in front of him, and although older (not by much!!) he considers her still as gorgeous as ever. Nope, not going there!!
Loved the banter between Tyler and the hockey boys, the love Evie has for Tyler, her son, and when Miller builds a friendship with Tyler, it will make your ovaries sit up and take notice.
The hidden Mafia side of the story rears it's ugly head when one of Selena's ex's starts to stalk Evie and Tyler. Not wanting to go back on her promise to keep her sister's secrets leads to an explosive curveball.
A great story that will have you immersed from the first chapter. With many POV, it captures all that is going on but still leaves you hanging and having to read just one more chapter!!

Another banger in this series from DL!!!
Loved being back with the boys and The Crushers. This book we are with Miller and Evie. Miller and Evie have a past together, Miller is Evie’s sisters ex. They have known each other since high school. And Evie has secretly been in love with him.
Years later, Evie has joined The Crushers organisation on their medical staff. Miller is one of the stars of The Crushers. Gotta love the irony right?
In those 5 years a lot has changed. Selene, Evie’s sister, has disappeared, and Evie has a son. Miller and Evie find themselves drawn back to each other and grow closer. Miller also starts to form a bond with her little boy.
Unfortunately there are secrets that are hidden and threaten to tear everyone apart. Evie has to make a decision as to let those secrets out or hide them for the sake of her family. Add to that an old associate of her father, who happens to be one of the Chicago 5 mafia bosses, is also threatening to tear Evie’s world apart.
DL has drawn you in again with her storytelling and had you on the edge of your seat in this book for a while. This book had me feeling so many emotions throughout from laughter to shock and to sadness. You feel the yearning Evie has for Miller, the love Evie has for her son, the joy when they meet again in unexpected places and when Miller meets Tyler. So much is going on with little subplots.
Love the inclusion of previous characters from other books in the series and great to see how welcoming they all are and how close their bond is in and out of the rink.
Bring on the next book, even though it is last in series. I’ll miss these guys so much.

Miller is an Ice Hockey player and is dating Selene, but he is unhappy when he finds her in the company of Klaus Van Der Kundt on a couple of occasions. I love Miller's nickname for this man. Selene and Evie's dad is a mob boss, one of the Chicago Five, but both girls try to keep their distance from their father's business. Selene and her sister, Evie, are very close, so Selene trusts Evie when things start to get dangerous for her. Selene turns up one day on Evie's doorstep, just a couple of years after going missing. Selene entrusts Evie with a valuable possession and instructs her not to reveal her secrets to anyone. Evie keeps her sister's secret from everyone, but this could all backfire on her, putting Evie and her family in even more danger.
I recieved an arc for my voluntary review for NN Book Blog. D.L. doesnt disappoint and keeps you turning the pages with all the twists and turns that you dont see coming. If you love a steamy romance with some edge-of-the-seat mystery and danger, then you will love this book.

If you include the novellas as well as full length novels, I Pucking Hate That I’ve Always Loved You is number 7 in the Pucking Love Series by DL Gallie, and like the previous 6 stories, I Pucking love this book!
This is a sister’s ex, single mum, reverse age gap, secret crush, workplace hockey romance with a pinch of mafia that had me greedy for more and absolutely fly through the pages.
Evie has always had a crush on her younger sister Selene’s boyfriend, Miller, and while things didn’t work out with Selene the way Miller thought they would, when he runs into Evie years later there’s a mutual attraction that he can’t deny. These two find themselves crossing paths more and more often and even though Evie feels like she is betraying her sister Selene, she chooses to give Miller a chance. The chemistry between Evie and Miller is next level and Evie’s son Tyler completes a perfect family picture. While everything seems like sunshine and roses there are secrets being kept and a mafia world threatening to destroy it all.
This is the first time DL Gallie has gone down the Mafia path and while she has only dipped her toes in, it was great. Plus, now she has left the door open for something bigger to develop in a whole new series.
Another Pucking great book, and I can’t wait to see how this series will end with book 8.

This book has it all: hockey, mafia, intrigue, forbidden love, single parents, and all the spice. In this book, you meet Evie, her little sister Selina, and Miller, who is Selina’s HS boyfriend. Evie is 7 years older than Selina and Miller, but she has been in love with him since she met him when he was 18 and dating her sister.
Nothing about this book is what it seems. This is my first hockey/mafia book, and it did not disappoint. I don’t want to spoil things, but this odd triangle gets really interesting really fast. There are a lot of ups and downs, secrets, lies, and a whole lot of chemistry. I couldn’t put this book down. I haven’t read this entire series, but this book makes me want to go back to the beginning. I loved this book and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Evie has always loved Miller who was her sister's boyfriend, She's older and the sister code kept her away. When her sister made a mess of her life she ran to Evie and left her with a surprise and secrets. A few years later Evie finds herself working for Miller's team and living in the same apartment building. Is fate throwing them together?
Secrets will eventually come to life affecting her family as well as Miller.
The past is going to come back to haunt her and her life could be ruined...are secrets really worth it.
Despite the angst this was a fun story. Her family are mafia but it's a minor role in the story. This is a almost forbidden love story between the athlete and his teen loves older sister.
Great story, I loved it. Even the eye rolling corny banter :)

Evie and Miller were FIRE! These two have had the hots for each other ever since her sister dated him, that is until she brushed him and everyone one off and left town, for reasons no one knew. Selena had a secret that now Evie was caught up in. When Miller is transferred to the hockey team where Evie works, all bets are off, the chemistry, steam and all out hotness can’t be ignored anymore. Evie is carrying her sister's secret and we all know that secrets have a way of coming out, and when her sister's past comes back to haunt Evie it’s all hands on deck to protect Tyler. Great read, I love this series.

Interesting with twists, turns and suspense one I wasn't expecting. With who he was and his job, then her and her job I thought this would centre around the game, injury and recovery, yup it wasn't as predictable as that. With mafia as a background there was way more going on, tense and intense, scary and some action. Tear-jerker and romance. Steam and angst. Something of everything mixed with great characters that were unique, worrying or just plain cute, it kept me reading to the happy ending.

This is Miller Wentworth and Evie Salvatore plus little Tyler hockey romance.This amazing author delivers another fun, steamy sport romance. This book was such a great read! The plot had wonderful characters and a lovely story!I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves a hockey/mafia romance.

Loved this book!! It was just what I need at this time. I really enjoyed Miller and Evie’s story. It had hockey, mafia and fun and suspense. The banter was great and the relationships were ones to route for.
I will definitely be going back to the beginning and reading this series from start to finish.

First off, Yay to being back in this world!
You had me at age gap, hockey mafia, you really cant go wrong with any of these tropes.
Loved the twists and turns, betrayal and suspense.
Miller and Evie were throughly enjoyable.
The banter was fabulous. IPHTIALY will definitely tug at your emotions.

This book was a wild ride from beginning to end. Love, betrayal, mafia, hockey. It’s all here. Plenty of laughs but also a healthy dose of tears, too. I really enjoyed getting to know Evie and Miller. As with all these pucking books, it’s a fast read and it never slows down.

This is a really good book. I love the characters. Miller and Evie are amazing. This story has it all. What the characters go through is so sad but they come out victorious in the end. The emotions in this book will take you for a world wind but it’s so good. I can’t wait to read the next one. I’m usually not big on hockey romance but this definitely exceeded.

Evie has too many secrets to keep when she starts seeing Miller. Then danger us added to the suspense and everything gets more complicated. I enjoyed this book.

This book will give you all the thrills! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get angry. All in all an amazing story with terrific characters. I loved everything about it. A great addition to the series!!!
