ALLY PATRA is an author of love, death, sexuality, and all matters most sacred and holy. She is a writer of quantum entanglement of the soul—one who sinks her fangs into a love that aches down to the bone marrow, claws its way from the ribcage, and devours. And when it asks for seconds, she tears it open instead, dissects its innards, and smears its essence across the page.
Inspired by love that is timeless and knows no boundaries or end, but instead enriches and enlivens the tapestry of beauty in which we currently reside—with both its light and its shadow.
Not for the faint of heart. Raw, honest, emotional, and authentic.
From the soul.

I apologize for the negative review but I could not even get through each story without rolling my eyes and skipping to the next. This was such a disappointment after waiting so long for it to release and seeing all the recommendations for it online. Terribly written; grammatically and also just the plots themselves.
Alex from Ally Patra previous books ( Becoming the Prey & Entangling The Web ) will always be my main book boyfriend, however Viy in Carnivora is climbing up in my top 5 book boyfriend
The overall rating for this book is from an average of all 4 stories' ratings. All stories were a good read and different from each other. I enjoyed all 4 but some more than others.
Cruel Devotion: 3.5 ⭐️ This story had some good spicy scenes, but it was hard to follow at times on what was going on. I would still give the full book a read to find out what happens, though.
Carnivora: 4.5 ⭐️ I loved Viy! The story was great, but at some parts, Kat somewhat annoyed me. I would read the full book when it comes out to find out what happens to them.
The Heir of the Curse: 4 ⭐️ I enjoyed the story and the HEA ending. The switch from, I want to torture you for revenge to I don't want to hurt you and forget about the revenge, was quick though and didn't really fit with the pace of what was going on.
Eight of Swords: 3.5 ⭐️ It was an interesting story. I liked the Filipino lore aspects of it because it makes it different. A lot of the choices made by the MFC didn't make sense to me a lot of the time. And the ending was like, "Huh?" (Insert minion gif)
I relatively enjoyed this book. The first one is written like a Wattpad novel and hard to read. The other three are great, with a few words overused here and there… some grammar issues. When looking at this book I tried to consider that it is published by the authors themselves (if you followed their Kickstarter) which brings forth the cost of an editor. It’s not cheap. The authors did great overall and the art of this book is beautiful. 5 stars due to the hard work they did, it did not go unnoticed! Great job.
This book is a broken into smaller books; each with a different story and setting. I was not a big fan of the books because some of them were very disturbing which is why I gave it three stars. I understand the book is marketed as Dark Paranormal Romance but there were parts that were not dark but not moral to me.
I don't normally write negative review but after waiting for this book and all the hype of the media platform it was really disappointing i couldn't even get through three chapters before i stopped reading.am sorry this world have been amazing.
