Kōsuke Fujishima (藤島康介, born July 7, 1964) is a Japanese manga artist.
Born in Chiba, Japan, he first came to public attention as an editor of Puff magazine, his first job after completing high school. Fujishima originally intended to be a draftsman, but took the editorial role after failing to get a drafting apprenticeship. He later became assistant to manga artist Tatsuya Egawa in the production of the Making Be Free! manga, and in 1986 began his first original manga series You're Under Arrest. His second manga series Oh My Goddess!, also translated as Ah! My Goddess, is extremely popular and has made Fujishima a household name in Japan. In addition, he is also well known as the character designer for several games in the Tales RPG video game series and Sakura Wars.
He is known for his love of automobiles and motorcycles, and several of his series and their characters reflect this, such as in éX-Driver and Oh My Goddess!.
This volume is pure plot, so if you're reading them out of order, this is not the one to read out of order. The plot hinges on the mechanics of goddesses and their angels, which is a fascinating aspect of the world that has yet to be fully explored until now. For instance, what does happen if a goddess gets a demon egg instead of an angel egg? The art is just beautiful and I still find myself absolutely in love with the designs of the angels.
This volume really ramps up the action and suspense as a new character arrives. Lind, a valkyrie arrives and tells the goddesses a dangerous enemy is lose. In an effort to defeat the enemy, the goddesses and Keiichi are pushed to their absolute limit and its entertaining to see.
in this book keicii goes on a race with this other guy because his daughter wants to marry keicii but keicii likes belldandy so he can't marry her. well they go on a race and belldandy the goddess helps keicii with the lights and keicii wins so he doesn't need to marry that other girl. they go on and do what they normally do . then a couple days later a goddess lind comes and she is a warrior goddess with the one winged twin angels. oh no! there's trouble!!!! johanna ma 209 pages
My least favorite storyline so far, with a new Valkyrie goddess who has come to confiscate the Eater of Angels. Just not very interesting, and seemed pretty "out there" even in the context of the series mythology.
