I absolutely adored the second part of this duet!!!
The harlequin vibes are there, the paranormal, the devil, the smut was smutting for its LIFE and I gobbled it all up I swear.
These books give me "American Horror Story" Season 4 (one of my favorite seasons) in the absolute best way. Like imaging AHS Season 4 if it was a smutty paranormal romance and this is basically that book and for it me IT IS EVERYTHING I WANT!!

We see Meg and her mates go through the process that is actually hunting and killing her mother. Which is definitely something… But what really kept me hooked was the continuing building of the relationship between her and her mates. They are still OBSESSED as they should be (lol). The shows they put on… I was fanning myself I swear to you right now. If it wasn't for the option of death and you know getting brutally murdered I would %100 buy a ticket to that show… just saying…
Anyway OBSESSED with the paranormal circus vibes, Meg's badassery, the relationship between all 5 of them and of course THE SMUT WAS HERE AND SERVING.

Ok, listen up. If I can convince you to read one paranormal series this year, please let this be the one. It has to be this one. Prepare for a bit of a gushfest, because I thought I loved Circus Creeps— Carnival Creeps GAVE ME LIFE.

A twisted, and yet somehow endearing tale of found family, Aiden Pierce’s Sinner’s Sideshow Duet tells the tale of a half human, half demon finding where she truly belongs. A monster circus filled to the brim with death and depravity, of course! This book takes everything we love from its predecessor and cranks up the heat, leaving readers in an ooey gooey puddle at Discord’s feet.

It’s darker. It’s grittier. It’s spicier. It’s more. So much more. More blood. More monsters. More k!nk. More…love.

A cataclysmic threat looms, casting a dark shadow over not only the circus, but the realm of mortals as a whole. Entwined with copious amounts of OBSCENE spicy scenes (Aiden, you write monster smüt like nobody’s business) is an engaging plot that keeps us on our toes as the war to protect humanity rages on. The only way to win this war is fear. And there’s plenty of fear to be had.

If I haven’t convinced you yet, let’s chat about Meg and her mates. Meg is such a badass, I want to be her when I grow up. She’s a lost soul that finally finds her purpose, and it’s more grand than anyone could’ve ever imagined. Her time with Sinner’s Sideshow has built up her confidence in the most impressive ways.

And she has her demons to thank for that. And not just any demons— we’re talking shadow daddy, alpha hellhound, and a pair of sex clown twins kind of demons. While they usually don their humanoid forms, their true forms are nothing short of magnificent, fully equipped with all manner of anatomy that hurts just to think about. IYKYK. And they love their tiny half human dearly.

I’m sad to say goodbye to this quintet, but I’m waiting with bated breath to see what Pierce has in store next. I’m obsessed and I need more of whatever goes on in her brain. Just read it. You won’t regret it.

3 stars for the plot, 4 for the characters. I would have liked to see a more interactions between the characters outside of Meg, particularly the twins and Daemon, or the twins and Allistar - but this was still a good, quick read.

Carnival Creeps is the second book in the Sinner's Sideshow series and it's darker, grittier, bloodier, kinkier and more violent than the first in the best ways. Meg and her mates are finding each other in the dirtiest ways. I blushed, I swooned and I contemplated my sanity. Meg was the glue that held her shadow daddy, an alpha hellhound and two demonic clowns together and it might be the sexiest thing I've read this year so far.

"Her supernatural blood made her capable of enduring the harsh realities of life among monsterkind, while her humanity helped us find our own. She gave us a softness we all desperately needed while challenging us with that bratty, beautiful mouth of hers."

Alistair, Riff and Raff, and Daemon were the full package for Meg and worshiped the ground she walked on. Normally MM when a female is involved doesn't work for me but here...HOLY COW...Aiden knocked it out of the park. The sensuality, the roughness and the depravity of their little mate group was hot AF and everything I wanted for them.

"You’re mated to the devil and his three favorite sinners. Even if a fleet of seraphim try and wrench you away. We’ll start a fucking war with the heavens if that’s what it takes to keep you.”

Even with danger on the horizon these well developed characters found a way to fight the demons worse than them and still find time to solidify their bonds. Riff and Raff were the crazy clowns with a rough past but loved their Meg with a vengeance.

“Is that supposed to scare us? Carve your love note onto our cocks. It will be a pretty sight watching it disappear inside you when we fuck you.”

Daemon was the hellhound that loved taking control and he controlled Meg and Alistair in the hottest ways and never made me feel like his love for his bonded mates were on unequal playing field. The way he wielded his love for Meg was sexy as hell.

“Your senses are almost as good as mine. You can scent her arousal on my dick, and I’m willing to bet you can smell her blood too. So you know exactly where she is. In my bed, dripping with my cum, wearing nothing but my collar on her throat and my bruises on her thighs.”

The devil himself was multi-layered and I loved his character development. I loved Meg's fierceness and protective streak. All around, a super well written dark and dirty paranormal romance!!

I am glad that I saw this to the end. It did provide quite a bit of backstory, especially when it cane to the twins, so from that perspective I am glad I finished the duet. As for the rest of it, I did skip most intimate scenes here as again there were too many.
The epic battle with Lilith and the Horsemen was alright, but it was over pretty quickly. Some new traits appear here as Meg discovers her new abilities. The MMCs did learn to kind of get along for her sake. I suppose there is romance though it is not the conventional one, but considering the darkness within each character and their immense power, I reckon it did work for them.
Overall, all characters managed to find their own peace with the past and start fresh, together as a family.

This book is a must-read, no doubt about it , but be sure to read the first book before starting this one so it makes more sense 🥵🥵 you guys won't be disappointed

I was in the biggest reading slump and this duet dragged me out of it.

Like Carnival Creeps 1 this also a dark themed book with the same characters from book 1 but throw in the missing mother and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
I thought these 2 books were such a fun read, dark a but gory but fun! Definitely read them in order through book 1 then 2 because I think it would be confusing to jump into 2 first.

There is a lot going on so you’ll need to read the first one!
Without spoilers we keep watching the relationships with the between Meg, Riff, Raff, Daemon and Alister grow, plus the looming problem from Meg’s mother. Can the sinister sideshow survive her wrath is the major focus as they prepare for battle of the upside demon style.

Carnival Creeps is book 2 in a duet by Aiden Pierce (Circus Creeps is book 1). If you read and loved Circus Creeps then you will absolutely adore this book and it is a must read.
So much dark romance and spice plus a twisty and mysterious plot. Meg is back with all 4 of her crazy monster men. You will definitely experience all sorts of naughty and depraved things with the 5 of them all while battling other things that lurk in the darkness. The ending was excellent and brought closure to the duet!!
If you haven’t read the duet and love dark monster romances with LOTS of wicked spice OR if you read book 1 Circus Creeps I highly recommend this book!!!! PLEASE check the trigger warnings! Thank you for a fabulous read!

I thought I loved Circus Creeps... Until I finished Carnival Creeps and realized book 2 was not messing around. Everything we love about book 1 was cranked up in book 2. It’s darker, grittier, and packed with even more intensity. Expect more monsters, more gore, more passion, and a deeper dive into love and affection between the group.

Meg is a badass. She's smart, she's driven, she doesn't take no for an answer, and she will swallow any sword like a champ. She has strength of spirit (and vagina!). She is a delight to read because she loves pushing the buttons of her four monstrous mates. And boy, when she pushes too far, it is truly breathtaking to read how the men like to put her back in her place.

I love all four of her men though I think the Incubus twins take the lead for me. There is just something about their mischievous double-trouble persona mixed with showing double the care and consideration of Meg and her needs that simultaneously melts my heart and speeds it up. Alister, as our resident Discord Shadow daddy, really grew on me this time. He was a bit of an enigma in Book 1 (on purpose) but we got to spend a lot of time learning about his past and helping him heal/grow through some things. Plus, the fact that Meg was the first female he'd been with, EVER?! SO HOT. It was a real treat reading about this ancient primordial being experiencing sex with a female. His Switch behavior just melts my brain a bit too. And then our resident Alpha hellhound shifter, Daemon. I honestly loved him more with Alister than I did with Meg. I think the three of them as a throple are fantastic, but we got more of a soft side of Daemon when he was with Alister (and rightly so to be honest) and that makes my little romantic heart happy. They had centuries together, and like two emotionally stunted men tend to do... Failed to realize they love each other until someone (Meg) points it out. While Alister sees the 4 as his "pets" to care for, it is Daemon who commands the group overall. Because of his dominant personality, the group needs his leadership and direction to function smoothly. And by the end, with their glorious Hall of Mirrors night together... They finally do. Meg is a lucky duck with her four baddies loving her.

This duet was everything I hoped it would be. It has a relatable and funny FMC, deliciously monstrous men smitten with her, and pages soaked in sex and fear, wrapped up in a plot about saving the world from the apocalypse.

10/10 will always recommend this fast and fun freak ride of a story!

Like its predecessor, this book is not one to approach blindly: especially for readers with triggers or sensitivities. If book one came with a long list of warnings, this sequel takes that list and says, “hold my beer.” It picks up seamlessly where the first book left off, which I appreciated since it allowed me to dive straight back into the story without needing a refresher.

The spice here was abundant: enough to fill a canyon, honestly. Given the succubus FMC and the two incubi MMCs, that level of heat wasn’t exactly surprising, but even as someone who enjoys spicy reads, I found it a bit overwhelming at times. There was more plot development this time around, but the sheer frequency of explicit scenes often overshadowed what could have been a really compelling storyline.

That said, I genuinely enjoyed the underlying story and the emotional growth it brought to each character. The found family dynamic was a highlight: beautifully written and deeply touching as each character learned to confront their inner demons (no pun intended) and find acceptance through one another. I also appreciated that this book gave more balanced attention to the whole cast; each character got their moment to shine, making the group dynamic feel richer and more complete. While the heavy spice might not have been to my personal taste, the emotional depth and strong sense of connection between the characters made this installment a satisfying continuation of the series.

This book was wild. WILD. I simultaneously knew what was gonna happen, and then was also shocked as hell. But it was a hell of a duet and I enjoyed it so much.

The plot in this one is kinda, weird at times. There is so much smut, and plot sprinkled in. But when the plot is there, it's good! I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the characters spending more time together and seeing the men bond more. I still feel like Allistair is a little tame for what he is. I wanted more umfph from him! He is suppose to be the devil. I loved how he let Meg handle herself, and show her strength, but I really wanted to see that unhinged devil power.

I loved that Meg came into her power and confidence. That she took what she wanted with no shame or regard. She was badass by the end. I loved that she had the men wrapped around her finger, but was also her own person.

I loved Daemon and the twins. They were my fav.

The smut was SMUTTING. The Allistair scene? OMFG. I was SHOOK. Like, jaw dropped. Wild. Absolutely wild. But, when it came to Daemon in his monster form? Where were the details? I need to know that configuration of how three dicks worked. Where were the details 👀

The ending was a little anticlimactic in some ways. I expected a little bigger of a battle. But I did like how it all resolved.

All in all, if you want a smut filled, Halloween/spooky themed read, this duet will not disappoint. I had a blast.

I am going to start this off by saying if you haven’t read Aiden Pierce before, you need to do so. IMMEDIATELY! The way they skyrocketed to the top of my autobuy authors is unheard of! That being said, I am so devastated this duet is at an end. Or is it? 👀

I absolutely adore Meg. Her smart mouth is everything and more. I wish I could have comebacks with the quickness like she does. Not only is she a smartass but she is fierce, strong, and throughly self assured, as she should be! Though, I wouldn’t even dare to dream of having her stamina. I am 1000% positive I would die with even 1/4 of it!
The twins are everything. Their comedic relief, big hearts, and everything goes mentality is absolutely flawless. Daemon is just a big teddy bear in a hunk of man meatsuit. I think absolutely think he is the glue of the mates.
Alistair had a big reckoning in this book. He really had to overcome his past, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He was a big focal point of the story. I loved watching everyone get under his skin and bring out the real him.
AND THE SPICE?! DEMON HAVE MERCY!!!!!!!!!!!
The ending had me absolutely bawling. Happy or sad tears, you’ll have to figure out for yourself.
Aiden, thank you for bringing these characters to life. I want to write so much more but I will just ramble and not do the story any justice. Forever in my MySpace top 8 for sure.

I freaking love this Duet!!! I read this on KU but I'm definitely going to be getting physical copies and merch because I'm obsessed.
This one is a lot more in depth because the plot starts to unfold with an ancient evil that wants to kind of takeover.
I don't want to say any spoilers but it goes beyond just being about a Devilish Circus.
Our FMC spends more time the MMCs and forms mate bonds, while discovering things about herself and coming into her own power...and even more power..
It's just so interesting while staying juicy and fun.
It was so hard to put down, like I just wanted to stay up and read it!
There was absolute carnage in the first one but this one kicks up the brutality level.
In this one they have to convert the Circus into a Carnival that draws in the worst of humankind, like pedos, and they don't let them leave.
This was just so dark and unhinged, but also so steamy. I don't think I've read a book by her that I didn't love.

this second book was even better than the first and a perfect ending. things were even more sinister and spicy 🥵 even tho this book (and duet in general) had a lot of spice, it didn’t skimp on the relationship building and found family between everyone.

i don’t doubt i’ll end up re-reading this duet again. and probably soon bc i don’t want to let these characters or world go ❤️‍🔥🗡️

Coming in hot with one of my favourite reads of the year. This is book two in the Sinners Sideshow duet and nothing may ever compare to this book. I swear I glitched and almost had a heart attack multiple times . I can’t figure out who I love more, the twins, the bitch tamer or the ringmaster. I always have a favorite, but not this time. It is some of the hottest, filthiest smut I’ve ever read. No one writes like Aiden Pierce. The ending is amazing. It’s dark. And twisted. There’s snowballing (which I just learned about LOL) why choose monster romance. Finger puppets. knotting. And so much more.

If you ever thought to yourself "Do I really want to read a book with demonic sex clowns and shape shifting hellhounds?" the answer is yes, a thousand times yes!

Wow! Just wow! I found I enjoyed this one even more than the first and Input it down to the fact that I already feel connected to this band of devious misfits but also the spice was definitely spicing in this one!
I adore Meg and all her demons so damn much and I already miss reading about them (Larry is by far my favourite side character though!)
I look forward to reading anything written by Aiden in the future and if there are more books set in this world I will be eating that sh*t up for sure!

Let's put a smile on that face...

OK. I am questioning my sanity. I actually enjoyed this series. There were some scenes 🌶 that gave me the ick or parts that I skipped completely (Rift Raff flash back), but overall, it was entertaining.

The banter between Daemon and the 3 horseman was kinda funny. It was also kinda cute in a sadistic way to see all the RH group have some character development and bond together.

Now, I am definitely not adding this type of story to my preferred genre list, but it was interesting, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.
