I read many books like this, and the more I read, the more I'm convinced that you need someone to read with you to discuss it and wrestle with it. Don't let that put you off from reading it alone, but this is a study, learning, and transformation resource written for people who lead.

There's so much challenge, loads of well-researched references and a subtle thread of Paul's journey, which grounds the book nicely. If you're in Christian leadership, buy a copy for everyone in your team and discuss it a chapter at a time when you meet.
