An interesting book. Kind of a DaVinci Code for Atapuerca and the origins of humanity.
I liked the ambience in various locations of Burgos, and the (as far as I can tell) accurate paleontological information. The style was a bit stilted. Ignoring White, Arranz takes you by the hand and tells you who is good and who isn’t, everything each character is thinking, and overall just lacks subtlety.
However, the characters have personality and the plot moves right along. Not a bad read.
