Michael Webb is a fantasy author who lives in Georgia, northwest of Atlanta. A graduate of Berry College, he is married and has a son. He began writing on a whim in 2019 and fell in love with it. In addition to finishing The Shadow Knights Trilogy, he plans to write additional books.

This is #5 in the series. If you haven't read The Shadow Knights series yet, I highly recommend it. It has something for everyone - adventure, romance, mystery, fantasy...and it is appropriate for youth but grabs adult attention as well! Once again, Michael Webb delivers a fantastic story in this book. The story twists and turns, and Michael never reveals the plot twists. I read a lot of mystery novels, so I can usually tell "whodunnit", but not here. I loved this penultimate novel and cannot wait for the last installment!

I certainly enjoyed this one. I'm not clear on how many novels Mr Webb has written before this one but you can see his growth as an author. Ì look forward to reading more books by him.

Nobody would ever have been able to forecast that the Shadow Knights would be devastated, transported to a hellish prison and totally unable to fight the "rising" Knights of Power.
Veron lost all his origine powers. Lia and Raiyn are the only ones with origins powers left..
The king is dead and a fake devion user has taken his place as king of the realm.
All seems lost. Or is it? Really?
Now, that seems to be the perpetual way of thinking for the rest of this book, Shadow of Sacrifice, as author Michael Webb creates scene after scene of hope being dashed and gloom settling in.
Yet one keeps hoping. And reading.

If you enjoy fantasy fiction this author has it all. So well written you will feel as though you are right there in these adventures, the places and the people really come to life on each page you will struggle to put these down. I am already hungry for what comes next.

The book garners the remaining shadow nights n a fight for their lives. But there are more stories behind the marked one Talioth that we don’t know and we head into book 6 for all the answers. Can’t wait to read the final chapter to this amazing series.

This was such an action-packed story full of adventure! I love love love these characters, and I could barely put this book down. There were so many moments that brought tears to my eyes, but I love that it had a (mostly) happy ending. The Shadow Knights are just so awesome and amazing!
