This is the second book I have read by Nick Weaver, the first was about WWI and it was brilliant. Having been so impressed with the first book I thought I would give his book on WWII a shot, and boy am I pleased I did. It did not disappoint and is one of the best books on the subject I have read to give you an easy to follow introduction into the subject. I say introduction because it is just so well written and easy to understand you feel this is just high level, but when you delve down into what has been covered it is astonishing.
This book is perfect for teenagers studying or who just have an interest in the subject, but this is for a wider audience too. I am not a teenager and I have a decent awareness of WWII but this book has added new nuggets of knowledge I was unaware sparking my enthusiasm to learn more on the subject.
Each chapter provides an easy to read, entertaining and thought provoking evaluation of the areas it covers. It also brings home war affects people, with the stories of the real lives of people who lived it. I really can’t think of a negative word to say about this book.

Easy read about WW2 points of conflict
I found this to be an easy to understand book covering various points of conflict during the brutal WW2 timeframe. A great read for teen history buffs and includes personal stories for more connection. Very informative and well written. I enjoyed the key takeaways at the end of each chapter as well as the Extraordinary Facts in the appendix for a bit of trivia.

World war II for teens was an excellent book it was well written was well researched and it was written on a level that anyone could understand. The book will whet anyone's appetite who wishes to study more about World War 2
