Kelly and I are content with our lives as parents to our twins. Time is flying by, with high school keeping our kids busy.
Little did we know, our happiness would soon be tested.
Kelly yearns for our twins to find true love, but how will she react when her wish comes true?
Soren
Protecting my sister is the only constant in my life. She is the light to my darkness, and I would do anything to ensure her happiness. When she is confronted and slapped, my fury ignites, plunging me into Berserker mode.
Amidst the chaos, a gentle touch graces my arm, accompanied by the voice of a captivating siren.
Mouse appears before me, and I instinctively know she belongs to me. With the full support of Gee, I claim her as my own, confident that she will understand the unbreakable bond between me and Gaia.
Gee
Despite the bond Soren and I share, my love for him remains unwavering even when we disagree.
Our latest disagreement prompts him to storm off, and I go in the opposite direction, seeking solace elsewhere.
Lost in my tears and unaware of my surroundings, I collide with an immovable force. Little did I know, that "brick body" I stumbled upon would turn out to be my destined mate.
Soren's purpose in life is to protect. Protect the family, protect his twin sister Gaia and now, his new found mate, Mouse. When Gaia is being bullied, the only one to restore his calm is Mouse. Soren always knew there was something special about Mouse, and being a demi-god, along with his sister, he was absolutely right. He knows Mouse is his, but nothing about that is easy. Now that Soren has found his mate, Gaia longs for hers. Still young, she hasn't really processed it. Sure every guy in school has eyes on her and much to her twin's dismay, no one seems to measure up or is even close to be worthy of his sister.
Loved this short story and reading about these demi-gods on the precipice of adulthood! I can't wait for the second generation to come of age, it's going to be one wild ride!!! Great read!!!
I love this book. I could not put it down . Soren and Gaia find their true mates but their mom is having a hard time because she doesn't want them to grow up too fast, but at the same time she wants them to be happy. This is such a cute book. I did not want to end.
