Knowing that it is the first published book by this author, it is impressive and there is so much potential. I love the character development and it was such a quick read because it had me on the edge of my seat. I tend to love characters more if I can personally relate to them, and something about Salem Alastair just resonates with me. I love the vibe, I love the spice, I love the mystery. The only reason that I have a 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were some aspects that I wish we had more insight and detail of for more about the character's pasts. Also, this book reminds me of All He'll Ever Be (the full Merciless series) by Willow Winters. And the smut in this book is written so well, and I love a book that has equal sex POVs from each character instead of just the female main character. I am excited for more work from Desi, and I am so glad she posted about this book in a Motionless In White Facebook group 😭❤️ KEEP IT UP 🥰

4 and a half to be specific! I loved this book so much. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I think her writing is amazing. I love the way she writes and it makes the book such an easy read. The story line is amazing and has plot twists that I didn’t even see coming! The only thing that brought this down a bit from a 5 star is I feel like the story moved a bit fast during some situations. I wish there was some more details to fill in some gaps but I cannot wait to read more books by Desi Morgue. If you like mouth watering men, likeable FMC, dark romance, and a story that keeps you on your toes please read this! I would recommend it to everyone I know that reads dark romance!

I could not put this book down. I haven't read many dark romances, but everything was palpable and intriguing, even when things got a little confusing. I'm not even mad that there seems to be some holes in the characters & plot. Its got a nice blend of spice to storyline & its not just the one persons POV each time the smut occurred. The ending though is kinda where I didn't like it because it just seemed to come out of nowhere. I felt like I might have accidently skipped a page or two but nope it really just happens like that out of the blue. I do HIGHLY recommend it especially after finding out its the authors first publishing, and I'm excited to see what happens in the next book.

I loved this book! Til Death was a heart pounding, heart breaking, and full of twists and turns! I couldn’t put it down! If you are looking for a book that will throw u through a loop this is one you should definitely check out! I can’t wait to jump into book 2!

I don't even know where to start other than my mind is absolutely blown. Desi's style of writing is just beautiful 😩.There was such a good plot mix with with spice all done tastefully. I cannot wait to read afterlife and anymore Desi brings out. She is up there on my top 5 favorite authors from this book alone. I struggled to choose one quote that was my favourite as so many parts were nothing short of amazing.

Til Death by Desi Morgue had an intriguing premise and a lot of potential, but it didn’t fully deliver for me. The writing style is unique, and the darker tone of the story was definitely captivating in parts. I can see why many readers love it—there are moments of raw emotion and intensity that really stand out.

However, I found it difficult to connect with the characters at times. While the MMC and FMC had depth, their decisions occasionally felt inconsistent, which made it harder to stay invested in their journey. The pacing also felt uneven, with some sections dragging while others rushed through pivotal moments.

That said, this book isn’t without merit. If you enjoy darker romance with intense themes and aren’t afraid to dive into heavier content, this might be worth a read. It just didn’t fully hit the mark for me.

I really did enjoy this one. The concept was cool and different, and I haven’t read many falling-for-the-boss type books, so that part was fun. It kept me interested the whole time. The only thing that threw me off a little was how jumpy it felt sometimes. I’d get to a new scene and be like wait, did I miss something? Then I’d flip back a few pages just to double check. It wasn’t a huge deal, just kinda made me pause here and there. Other than that, I liked it a lot. It’s not the usual stuff I read, but it still hit.

The way he stalks her and protects her. The dominance he has is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

He knew she would be his from the beginning and she finally came around.

The cliffhanger!! I need to start the next book now!

I love this book, I nearly read it all in one sitting it took me 2, I do wish it was a little longer, its dark its smutty and a little amusing, I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
