Il reprint Dover di questa volta è di un libro del 1962, "Mathematics for pleasure". L'autore afferma "ho scelto i problemi che mi piacevano di più e li ho raccolti", il che è indubbiamente una Buona Cosa; però bisogna dire che i quasi cinquant'anni passati si sentono eccome, un po' per il linguaggio usato che è piuttosto difficile per chi come me non è madrelingua e un po' per lo stile dei problemi stessi. Bisogna dire però che si sente l'amore che l'autore ha per la matematica, e che viene mostrato nelle introduzioni ai vari capitoli. E alcuni dei problemi sono davvero carini, mentre nessuno di essi è troppo complicato. Visto il prezzo, che pretendere di più?
