Reverse Harem Daddies #2

Mountain Daddies

Rate this book
I’m snowed in with the mountain men of my dreams…
And there’s only one way to keep warm.

I didn’t mean to trespass on their cabin…
Or for them to catch me in their shower dripping wet.
But now I’m snowed in with three irresistible triplets…
And there’s nothing to do but… them.

Ed is the bossiest triplet. I hate how my body obeys when he barks orders at me.
Ollie is the epitome of sexy mountain man. He could charm the panties off any woman.
And Artie is built like a big teddy bear. I couldn’t wish for a better cuddle buddy on these stormy nights.

Wrapped in their arms, I’m safe from everything but the fire between us.
But will they still want me once the snow melts?

Especially now that my baby bump is growing…
And I have no idea who the daddy is.

MOUNTAIN DADDIES is a steamy standalone reverse harem romance that is guaranteed to keep you warm in just the right places. No cheating, no cliffhangers, ultra-swoony HEA guaranteed!

i am honestly surprised at my feelings about this book when i enjoyed the author’s first book.

this is a why choose where the brothers have never thought about sharing a woman/girlfriend. which was very interesting bc in a lot of why chooses brothers usually have that as a preference, esp twins. so it added in this dynamic to where they all had to adjust to this change and work through their jealousy with each other.

i think i knew i wasn’t going to enjoy the book or the MMCs when they laughed at her when she got overwhelmed the first time they tried to all have sex.

also, fxck Ollie. i know he didn’t actually cheat, but the intention was there. and i fully believed he would have went through with it.

also also fxck Ed. his personality seemed inconsistent to me. and by the end, i didn’t believe he wanted the baby, even if he said he did. there wasn’t enough dialogue/plot to make me believe anything changed for him. and he said some very horrible things about her being pregnant and the miscarriage that i couldn’t get over.

i also feel like she forgave them too easily.

and this is just a personal preference, but i dislike the name Susan for a FMC. and they never called her a nickname and always her full name. and very often, actually.

Steamy Mountain Daddies!

I really enjoyed these characters and the storyline. Ed definitely with his broody nature, colt and his charm and Artie's sweetness. How could you resist them.
This book begins with quite a bang when meeting. What a way to meet! The closing chapters almost had me worried on how this all would end. I did enjoy how it ended and came to a close. I have already started another book she has written.

Mountain Daddies is a steamy, OTT, reverse harem/why choose, girl gets triplet brothers romance. Susan is a reverse harem romance writer with a bad case of writer's block and a looming deadline. She books a mountain cabin for 2 weeks only to get there and find out it was a mistake. The cabin is occupied by three hunky brothers who are triplets. Ed is the grump with a temper, Ollie is the charming playboy, and Artie is the sweet and loveable one. I honestly had a hard time getting through this book. I wasn't feeling the chemistry between the brothers and thought they were rude jerks at times. There is some okay steam, and we end on a happy note, but I don't think I'd read it again.

Their Little Bundle of Love ❤️

Whewwww, from the moment our FMC meets our 3 mountain men, you just know it’s gonna be a crazy ride 👀🫣 I gotta say, Susan’s initial introduction to Artie, Ollie & Ed, was so embarrassing. I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to laugh, or cringe 😂😬 When a mixup booking a cabin results in Susan getting snowed in with a set of triplets who make her heart race, she finds that the writing inspiration she was lacking for her book is suddenly flowing like a river. Each guy brings a different vibe with him. Ollie definitely puts out golden retriever vibes, but he can get serious when he needs to. Artie has a sweet lighthearted vibe, but can be gruff when the situation calls for it. Then there’s Ed. Jeesh, this man puts off serious “don’t mess with me” grizzly bear vibes that would make most women run the other way extremely fast, but not Susan. It just pulls her in, especially when it becomes obvious that he’s a secret softie 🥹. I loved that there were some parts that were very realistic, especially when the guys had to adjust to being around each other while sharing Susan, and in relation to how they feel individually about the situation outside of the bedroom. Things like that make the story pretty believable, and I always appreciate that in books like this. This isn’t just a sexy flirty book with all fluff and no substance though. There’s a lot of emotional issues that all of our characters have to find their way through, and an unexpected pregnancy complicates matters even more. Add in a lack of important communication & lots of miscommunication, and you have a recipe for drama & heartbreak. Can the guys find a way to let Susan know how they feel, or is what they had going to stay frozen in the past? Grab this emotionally complex, humorous, passionate 🔥 & touching love story, and relax for a few hours with a story full of heartwarming moments that’ll make your heart smile 🥰

Ed, Ollie and Artie are triplet mountain men. They are happy living together in their cabin on the mountain. They had taken a trip to town to buy groceries before the upcoming snow storm. When they arrive home they are unexpectedly surprised by a strange car in their driveway. Ed suspects that the intruder is a thief so he punctures the tires of the intruder's car so they can't get away. The brothers search their house and find Susan, the pretty woman they saw in in town at the gas station. Susan is naked in the bathtub having personal time. Ollie and Artie are thrilled but Ed keeps his distance. He hasn't gotten close to a woman since his wife died. He just wants to send her away but he was the who cut her tires so she is stranded and the storm has started.

Susan is a reverse harem romance writer who is having a hard time. Her ex boyfriend had destroyed her confidence and even tried to steal a book idea. She is struggling with writer's block with a deadline fast approaching.
So she goes on air B&B and rents a mountain cabin. After arriving, she decides to relax in a bath and fantasizes. She is rudely interrupted by three guys bursting into the bathroom. Susan knows that she should be terrified but she is instantly attracted to the three sexy men. When she learns that the cabin was supposed to be removed from the website , she feels embarrassed and guilty. Then she learns that she can't leave and she doesn't what she should do. That night she has fun talking with the brothers but when she reveals that she writes reverse harems, sparks start to fly.

The book was definitely rushed and the spicy scenes were lacking. For instance, it would start off okay but then it would just be “then the room fills with moans” and then it’s cut and onto the next chapter. Hardly any depth to the scenes. The main characters were absolutely cringy and there was no relationship or character development. The writing in this book is also not the greatest, it’s very rushed and so much is left out. I’d rather have been able to read more on the growth of their relationships than the terrible book she was writing tbh.

Spoilers below don’t read 👇🏽

There were beyond so many different cringy parts that I’m baffled that they were included into the story. Mind you, I’m a dark romance reader and have zero triggers but this book mentioned some sensitive topics and conversations so if you are triggered by the things I mention below, I would skip it. The OWD with Ollie’s side piece was minimal and nonexistent even though she threatened so it seemed like there would be more other than the grocery store trip. Another negative point for Ollie, is the fact that he has a pregnant partner at home and because he let the doubts of his side piece get to him he decides to go mess around with someone at the bar. IMO that’s absolutely gross behavior for a main character. And then he has the nerve to want to tell her he loves her after he gets back from the bar. Noooo, what! Now let’s move onto Ed, I understand his internal struggles but his commentary to the MFC was insane. Mentions of telling her to get an abortion, then his wording after the you know what accident. Ick. I don’t have much to say about Artie, he was probably the most decent character even if he was lacking. Lastly, the FMC, she is something else. One, how do you find out your pregnant when you’ve only been there for two weeks and yet your period is 8 days late so now you magically know and are pregnant. The timeframe doesn’t add up for her cycle and her ovulation, but what do I know. Okay HUGE SPOILER, don’t read if you don’t want to know: But who in their right mind would fake losing a baby and then proceed to do the deed with her partners just to up and disappear and go through pregnancy by herself. Meanwhile the only things the MMCs received were a terribly written note and her absence just to finally find her and find out that the grief they were experiencing for half a year was all a lie? I’m sorry but ick ick ick. And then they were just perfectly fine like that wasn’t the most betrayal. Crazy. That’s all.

Title: Mountain Daddies (Reverse Harem Daddies: Book 2)
Author: Liz Archer

Review: Susan is a reverse harem author currently having writers block after a breakup, what better way to clear the mind and get her creative juices flowing than to spend two weeks in a secluded cabin up in the mountains… oh yeah, did I mention that there will also be three sexy identical triplets there too! After a misunderstanding, some slashed tyres and a brewing snowstorm, the foursome hunker down and find themselves acting out naughty ideas that Susan has for her books, all for research purposes of course. The sexual chemistry is high and the feelings caught are even higher, especially when an accidental pregnancy is revealed. Will they get their HEA or do they have too much personal baggage and let a good thing go…?

The book had a good plot with potential but the writing was a letdown for me. Most of the important scenes were rushed and not detailed enough and there was a lot of double up on writing the same thing. Also, I just didn’t really connect with the FMC, the shining star was obviously Ollie.
Overall I liked the book but probably wouldn’t recommend or read another story from this author as I didn’t like the writing style.

Stars: 3/5 ★
Spice: 3/5 🌶️
Recommend: No
Notes: My review is nothing against the author, I’m just used to a more advanced dark romance writing style.

I love mountain men romances, but throw in a why choose romance with 3 sexy triplets and I’m definitely there!
This was a really good story. I liked all 3 brothers, each one was completely different from the other. Ed was the grumpy, moody and standoffish brother with issues from his past, Artie was the sweet, compassionate and caring brother, and Ollie was the playboy. Not wanting to be tied down, and committed to one person. But my favorite and the brother I was most drawn to was Artie. When they learned Susan was pregnant he was the one who handled it the best. I didn’t like how Ed reacted, but I got where he was coming from because of his father, and he did his best to make an effort and in the end he really stepped up and proved himself. But I especially did not like what Ollie did. He was so easily swayed by another woman, and even though he didn’t take it far with her, he still acted. But I give him credit and respected him when he immediately went home and told Susan.
I really felt for her, and can’t imagine how she felt. She felt like a huge burden to all the guys, and it was sad to see her lie and then run.
But everything turned out perfectly in the end and the ending was excellent!
This was my first time reading anything by Liz and it’s definitely not the last! I’m looking forward to her next book, Biker Daddies!

Susan is a romance writer who needs to meet her deadline for her next book. She was having writer's block and she needed to get away from the city to focus on writing. When she finds perfect cabin in upstate, she packs her bags and goes. When she gets there, it seems it has been lived but it was empty so she takes a bath then she is met with three gorgeous triplets in the bathroom.
Ed, Ollie and Artie have been living together and when they are coming back from delivering the woods, they find a car and an intruder in their cabin. They never bring anyone to the cabin especially female and Susan was no exception. However, one of the brother slashed her tires and it was snowing and she couldn't go anywhere.
Now they are trapped during the snow storm. It was uncomfortable at first but things heat up when she reveals what she writes. It was a simple dare between her and triplets. They will have to stay together until snow storm is over. Things will get steamy and hot!!!
This book had all four different view and their own issues. It wasn't rushed and it wasn't all together all the time.
It was much better than similar trope and it was quick read.

I've been reading a lot of dark/pitch black romance for a while and this book was extremely refreshing. It gave me flashbacks to some of the first RH/insta love books that turned me onto this trope. Before we get down to the dirty, I want to say this book could easily be a comfort read that you turn to when you just want to feel good and read something happy. Everyone had their own personality that set them apart which is important when you are reading about triplets! I loved the story and will definitely be returning to it in the future.

The *fun time* scenes were delicious. Very spicy and detailed in the way that we all like. There was still a plot throughout and the smutty scenes fit in there perfectly without it being too overpowering.

This book is low on angst in my opinion, but still has some triggering content that may not be for everyone. The love interests in this book are triplet brothers and though that is taboo, there is no taboo action between them. They are 100% about their leading lady.

Thanks to a snafu with Airbnb, Susan finds herself an unwanted visitor in Artie, Ollie and Ed’s mountain cabin. A winter storm traps her with the three. While Artie and Ollie are thrilled that the woman they’ve quickly become smitten with is stuck with them, oldest brother Ed is enraged. Once he finally calms down, he is drawn to Susan as well and the three decide to help her with “research” for her latest reverse harem romance novel.

The story started off great, with chemistry to spare and some major steam. However, the spicy scenes quickly became repetitive, even within each scene. For example, in a solo session with Artie, he “explores every inch” of Susan multiple times, and with Ollie, he rubs “the curves of her hips” over and over. I did appreciate the conversations the men had with each other about sharing her, and the recognition that it would take time to become comfortable with the arrangement and not jealous of each other.

Overall, it was a good story, but I connected better with from Liz’s Biker Daddies.

Sexy

No cheating. Spice 3/5. HEA
Overall the book was nice, sex, past trauma, sexy men a strong fmc.
Some inconsistencies Ed doesn't want her there, then in hours flips and wants to have sex with her.
The sudden sex felt odd, off and they were all wishy washy...internal monologues saying they had feelings then immediately asking what this is, or even wishing she'd leave.
They never get deep into knowing her other than sex I thought they were going to spend more time, playing a game, reading etc sharing Individual interests but they didn't.
The descriptions of the sex scenes were a tad long and they seemed to do it so much I just skimmed quickly, there wasn't anything that stood out.
When they had sex individually it showed their personalities more.
She packs for the trip tossing in one nice lace panty and bra saying she didn't own lingerie but then later she had a babydoll dress that's see thru, multiple sexy panties and bras and a corset...inconsistent.
I could've given it four stars, there was a good climax but some parts made me roll my eyes so only three stars.

This was a really good story with three beefy mountain men, and a writer from New York, who had writers block and goes to a mountain retreat at an Airbnb to see if the new environment would help her creative flow. Susan find herself in a home of three brothers, Ed, Artie and Ollie. She is discovered in the bath when the men come home from doing their daily work and think that they have an intruder, Ollie slashes her tyres so she can’t escape, and when they discover who she was a winter storm had come suddenly, which trapped them all in the cabin for the next two weeks. What starts off as an invasion, turns into a hot and steamy work holiday. She finds out that she is pregnant, things change between them, and eventually she runs away to New York, carrying her secret with her, leaving the guys believing that she had lost the baby. Months go by, and they decide to find her and discover she still pregnant. They convince her that they love her and they have a happily ever after.

H: Edward aka Ed, Arthur aka Artie, Oliver aka Ollie-Lewis Brothers
h: Susan Summers- Reverse Harem Author
Susan an author who currently has writer's block after her breakup. She decided to venture up the mountain and rent an Airbnb (cabin) for 2 wks. She drove there and quickly realized the mistake she made when 3 big identical guys showed up in the bathroom while she was taking a bath. Now she is stuck in the cabin till the snowstorm subsides. I like Ed- he is the hot head, the one that acts w/out thinking. He doesn't take hrs to come to his senses, he immediately apologized w/in mins after realizing his mistake. Ollie-his a big flirt, he is into really showing affection while I love that abt him. Artie-is my least favorite, he is too calm, like too perfect I guess. The pregnancy was a big twist but it quickly got resolved and everything went back to normal. The whole story had no "drama" everytime time I thought drama was coming it was easily squash by the nxt page. I'm not sure exactly what I thought of this story.

Depends on what you’re looking for...
May contain spoilers.

If you are looking for a book with lots of spice and a taboo romance (meaning triplets who share one woman), then you are going to have a good time.
There is the shy guy who is very attentive, the flirty one who is spontaneous, and then the broody alpha who will do anything and everything to protect you.
I liked the concept of using a messed-up situation as a source to help with writer's block and that the guys helped her do "research." It was a fun read.
5 stars.

If you're looking for a book with romance and character development, this won't be as enjoyable. (This is how I entered the book.) We jump into tension and sex so quickly that it's not believable. Everyone is so trusting right off the bat. There was so much spice that I just kept flipping to find the plot.
2 stars.

Najbardziej jednak denerwuje mnie brak jednolitego tępa prowadzenia akcji. Mam wrażenie jakby była prowadzona jak po wertepach, pełna wzlotów i upadków. No i oczywista akcja zaczyna się znów strasznie szybko. Chyba jednak za dużo ostatnio słów burn czytałam i trudno mi docenić, jak już w 3 rozdziale dzieje się coś więcej.
Niemniej przyjemna, można całkiem miło spędzić wieczór.

Susan just wants some solitude to write her book: she’s been struggling since breaking up with her deceitful boyfriend. A cabin in the mountains sounds perfect! Ed, Ollie, and Artie are triplets, the epitome of mountain men, and their cabin is definitely off limits.

Liz Archer’s RH, forced proximity story is spicy, cute, and sad. She uses the dialogue and narrative to show the differences in each triplet and how they interact with each other and Susan. Ed is grumpy but passionate, Ollie is fun but easily hurt, and Artie is a thoughtful man who’s ok with Susan taking charge. The spice is nice and they make her blush and gush! Great ending!.

Susan is suffering from writers block and in a both desperate and spontaneous moment books an Airbnb on a remote mountain. She turns up as it is getting dark and settles in only to be shocked by the unexpected arrival of the three owners.

Ed, Artie and Ollie are buff, gruff, built lumberjacks with very different personalities. Susan finds her block all gone as their relationship heats up. Only to have misunderstandings and misconceptions tear them apart.

A wonderful steamy reverse harem exploring the building of a complex relationship with understanding, compromise and passion.

Another fantastic story from Liz.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Susan, Artie, Ollie, & Ed. Susan has hit a brick wall in her writing. Since her breakup 4 months earlier she has found that the words just won't come. When her agent tells her to get away to see if that helps she looks for a air b&b. Little did she know what she would find when she gets there. The guys like their privacy so when they see a car in their driveway they are sure they are a thief. When they get inside instead of finding a thief they find a beautiful woman in the bathtub. Can they find a HEA or will the fact that Susan has to be in public be more than they can overcome?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I'd say 3.5 ⭐️ the time jumps weren't really clear and I can't believe I'm saying this but there could have been more plot, she was basically a sex doll for 2 weeks in a cabin with triplets, they round robined the girl for 2 weeks, called it love, found out she was pregnant then freaked out on the girl in some way or another, which eff them 🙃 really? Going to a bar and grinding on another chixk while your baby mama is at home 🚮 and telling her to get an abortion the moment she tells you shes pregnant also 🚮 shes better than me cause i would have left long before her little test, the only semi genuine brother was archie and I thought for a second there I was gonna have a credence situation on my hands and then I'd have to riot. I'm glad for the HEA though.

I guess you can say this is a twist on the Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Susan is a writer who ends up stranded and a cabin with three hot triplets. A snow storm makes it to where there's no escaping the chemistry Between the four of them. Ed had serious trust issues do the things in his past. Artie is sweet caring and compassionate. And Ollie is a big clown Playboy. Adding an unexpected pregnancy and there's turmoil they must work through.

I had so much fun reading this sexy why-choose romance. The triplets are so well-written. I love all of their personalities, from the cute golden retriever personality to the extremely gruff personality. There's a lot to unpack in this book. There are some sexy scenes and emotional scenes that will leave you wanting more. If you love your books with plenty of emotional baggage and some pretty steamy scenes, this book is for you.

A really good reverse harem story. Susan left NYC for the mountains to write her book, what she found was 3 utterly delectable mountain men. She gets into a 4 way affair with these guys and each one is totally different personality wise although they are triplets. She finds out she is pregnant which adds a different dynamic to their relationship. "They reach their HEA. I must say that the steamy scenes started out hot, hot, hot. Then they unfortunately became repetitious. Still liked the book.

I don't even know why I picked this up after not really liking Rancher Daddies by this author. Maybe I wanted to give them another chance. This was basically the same book but in a different setting.

I was looking for a smutty read to pass the time on a car trip, but this frustrated me. Once again, the third-act drama was handled terribly. These men did a 180 in character and I wanted to jump through my Kindle to slap the shit out of them. I was so frustrated trying to finish this one that I knew I wouldn't be picking up this author again.

This Book Made Me Feel Many Emotions

This book was really well written. I enjoyed all the characters, especially the men. Although, in the end, I hated and still hate Susan. She was horrible to the men as she lied to them and tested them. Instead of being up front and honest, she decided she would lie to them about something as monumental as losing their child and then run away. Usually, I can rationalize the reasons that the main characters do what they do but there is no way to rationalize lying about something to fucked up.

Mountain Daddies

The continuity is a little off. Susan only packs one set of lingerie but all of a sudden has a Barney bag full of naughty clothes. The role playing really squigged me out and I had to skip past it. Ollie gets a text from an angry hookup in the beginning but later has a satellite phone because of scour ed lovers blowing up his regular phone.

The whole makeover scene was ridiculous. She fell in love with them as they were, no need to change.

The ending was a bit predictable but it was still cute

This starts off with a miscommunication and due to a lot of snow they're all stuck together.
Then things heat up and fantasies become reality, but due to bad pasts, more miscommunication happens and things go wrong again.
But determination wins in the end and things swing around again.
But in between, this author really knows how to keep it hot 🔥.
