This was an amazing story. Blake Pierce she surprised me this time, just when I think I can figure out who the bad guy is in the psychological thriller known as Jessie Hunt she threw me for a loop with this one. I really enjoyed this book #33 of Jessie Hunt Series. Why the unsub was killing the women but when the the conclusion of the matter rears its head, it is a surprise or was to me and the reasoning behind this serial killer was different. The killer was killing the women because of the perception of how the women were treating people. I guess I really can't say much more because I would probably give away the gist of the story. You just need to know that it is definitely worth purchasing this book. I love Jessie Hunt Psychological Thrillers. We know that there are still people out there trying to take Jessie and her family out so that story continues. Loved this book.
So predictable. Can we have a crime where there’s not house cameras not working? It’s so obvious. Come up with new ways to create suspense or have the bad guy evade the police. There’s got to be other ways to hide crimes than “broken cameras.”
Someone really needs to come up with a new book blurbs or descriptions about what will happen in these books. I see the same thing every time. Rich people. Shouldn’t have problems. Getting murdered for no reason.
I guess it’s good that there’s always two storylines going on in these books. There’s the main crimes, and then there are the people trying to take Jessie down. It’s always just so graphic. And the ending of this book really surprised me and not in a good way. Come on, Ryan.
Blake Pierce's exceptional 'The Perfect...' series reaches no 33 with The Perfect Show, a tense, action-packed psychological thriller, in which a serial killer is on the loose in LA. What links the murders of three mothers, alone in their own homes? Who's Costabile?
Homicide Detective Ryan, and his profiler wife, Jessie Hunt must work out the connection fast, before another young woman pays with her life... then both must face off against the escaped, twisted killer, who's got Jessie in his sights. As the clock ticks down, who's going to make it, to fight for justice another day? Read The Perfect Show to find out!
The Perfect Show is one of the great books in this series, and I would give it 5 stars but it lacks better proofreading. There is a good plot, the traumas are relatable and Jessie's life, as always, is under a lot of pressure, but she and Ryan will frantically work to find the killer and meet the Chief's deadline for a press conference. It also gives food for thought on child development and learning. Great entertainment! I thank Ms. Pierce for this ARC.
Jessie and her husband are called to find a serial killer who is killing mothers using a toxic gas. They stay busy trying to find the killer as more victims are found. Hard to put this one down! Great read!
The Jessie Hunt series is incredibly hard to put down. The characters come to life and it's one threat after another for the main character, keeping the reader on there toes. I can't wait til October for the next book in this series! What an ending!
I started reading this series a couple of years ago. Now there are so many books. I’m kind of ready for it to be over but like SVU you’ve invested this much time you’ve gotta se it to the end
Did we get rid of all the people after Jessie and her family and friends? I've lost track of everyone who was trying to kill her. I sure hope so because it was getting really boring. Let's hear more about Hannah!!! And let Jessie get back to being ever so cleaver with solving unsolvable crimes.
