An incredibly useful short book, brought to life with engaging writing.
Jeff Perry has built a fantastic resource for any professional seeking to improve their network. Let’s be real, aren’t we all seeking this on some level? I love how this work is predominately actionable, with succinct lists, and encouraging anecdotes sprinkled throughout. Professional networking is truly more than reaching “500+” connections on LinkedIn. Jeff shows us how. The book is a breeze to read owing to his bright and pleasing writing style.
My favorite chapter was on informational interviews (ch 5). After completing one last month, and feeling good about it, I was surprised at how I could have made it EVEN BETTER. I will be sure to use Steve Dalton’s TIARA tool in the future!
Thanks for writing this delightful and actionable book. It should be required reading for all adults.
