Take a trip to the dark carnival…you’ll never want to go home…actually that’s not really a choice on your part…
The Heckna Campaign Setting is a dark humorous and horrifying adventure to a place you’ve never been, one you couldn’t possibly imagine in your darkest nightmares, and one you’ll wish you could forget…
Welcome to the big top and midway of the master showman Heckna…
How you ended up here could be due to seeking adventure, getting lost, or through no mistake on your part. You may not even know how you ended up at the entrance as lost time, dark mists, and misfortune are common here…
As you explore every part of this realm (wherever “here” is), you’ll learn about the rides, the games, the wonders, and the prizes to be found.
The staff is friendly, hostile, delighted to have you, or anxious to recruit you…regardless of your own intentions…
Of course you might find Allies…either those also led astray and trapped, those seeking to fight the clown faced evil, or even those that now regret their prior jobs bringing “fun” and “joy” to guests…
Of course if you manage to survive…or even better if you managed to ESCAPE…you may be reshaped forever in body and/or mind…
Pick up your ticket and go try and win a prize. Maybe you’ll be lucky and win back your life on the first play…
