Isabel “Isa” Gonzalez, a Cuban legal immigrant, has caught Thunder’s eye and he is willing to beg, tease, dry-clean her clothes, and even embarrass himself just to get a date with her. Neri Lopez is a two-time Global Book Awards–winning author of romantic suspense whose work blends cultural awareness, emotional depth, and action-driven narratives. This book kept my attention with its educational pieces on American Indian Culture and its variety of characters. Characters you love and characters you love to hate! This book has love, lies, deception and murder! What more could a girl ask for? My one negative (for me, not everyone) is that the book does have very descriptive sexual language and scenes that I would say border on porn. That is a me problem, not everyone’s problem. It would make a great Lifetime movie!

Romance and suspense combine with interesting facts about Native American culture. Loved the romance and intense relationship between the two main characters and the intriguing story that develops. Book definitely kept my interest! Strongly recommend this book
