A SECOND ‘CHANNELED’ BOOK BY ‘ALEXANDER’

Author Ramón Stevens wrote in the Preface to this 1994 book, “I took a year’s sabbatical from civilization and moved to the fringes of a small town deep in California’s northern forests. I lived in an old cabin… I found myself with abundant time on my hands… Four years had passed since Alexander, the spirit teacher I channel, had dictated his book ‘Conscious Life: Creating Your Reality’… four days later Alexander began dictation of a text he called ‘Earthly Cycles.’ … By late spring… ‘Earthly Cycles’ was complete.”

He wrote in the Introduction, As time rolls forward, humanity rides on ever-rising waves of intellectual, spiritual, and technological sophistication. Each generation reaches higher into the race’s banks of potential and fashions a deeper, clearer, purer understanding than its forebears could achieve… Because western culture’s spiritual tradition is rooted in teachings appropriate for the age of their original emergence… and because that tradition denies reincarnation and karma as elements of the soul’s journey, western culture is bereft… of some of the most powerful and universal influences on human life. Our purpose in writing this book is to offer insight into these deep and enigmatic processes, couched in language and at a level of sophistication appropriate for our age.” (Pg. 9-10)

In the first chapter, he states, “Let us offer an alternate view of the relationship between you and your Source… picture the relationship as your home planet EMBEDDED within an enormously larger sphere, the totality of all creation, the Source… you no longer stand apart from and below the Source, but are cocooned within It, floating securely in Its warm embrace and forever nourished by Its loving intent… You ARE the Source, a fragment of consciousness embedded within Its unfathomable totality, playing out the drama of earthly and human life as a unique expression of the Source’s infinite potential.” (Pg. 14)

He says, “Let us look at the next great branching of consciousness … into what we term the ‘human quadrangle’… Each person carries a physical aspect, an emotional aspect, a mental aspect, and a spiritual aspect… Each person is a composite of these four elemental aspects of human life; and each aspect offers a virtually unlimited variety of expression.” (Pg. 23)

He asserts, “between the intangible ether and the solid brain and flesh lie the human energy fields: energetic bodies anchored to corporal form but swirling at frequencies beyond the senses’ narrow scope… These subtly interwoven fields are often referred to as a single body, the aura.” (Pg. 70)

He says, “This powerful drive for fulfillment is fed into each creature in the energetic streams continuously flowing from every species’ host consciousness. The vital life force animating all beings flows from the higher nonphysical realms into each organismic outpost of life… and infusing the insistent urge toward fulfillment. Nothing simply EXIST; all life has a PURPOSE.” (Pg. 107)

He states, “karma is defined as ‘the residue remaining after closure of a behavioral loop. Every day brings countless exchanges with others which carry no residue… Each of these everyday actions is a behavioral loop which opens and closes as a self-contained exchange carrying no lasting residue. No karma is created through such exchanges. Karma arises when behavioral loops produce lingering residue of either a ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ nature… A crucial understanding is that karma is created only when intent is married to action..” (Pg. 141)

Later, he adds, “Once a karmic braid has sprouted between two souls, the shared lifetime in which the braid originates leads either to release of the braid or its projection into other lifetimes… How is the karmic braid maintained even after the death of the pair involved? Remember that each of you carries a ‘signature vibration,’ a unique pattern sculpted into your energy field… This vibrational stream is subconsciously picked up by other… Thus, the originator’s personal signature is incorporated into the respondent’s energy field, and remains there until the respondent closes the loop through rejoining behavior.” (Pg. 152)

He states, “Death is the transition from the human journey into the realm of the spirit. It is a time as biologically and spiritually complex as the birth which opened the soul’s human experience. Death unfolds through a highly structured process gently easing the soul out of its corporal form and into a vast new realm. The soul is carefully led though this process by guiding being whose task is to ‘midwife’ the soul out of its human shell and to acquaint it with its new ‘surroundings.’” (Pg. 179)

He summarizes, “Our emphasis in this book has been on the individual soul’s journey---the interplay of past and present lifetimes, soul qualities expressed as the elements of personality, recognizing and releasing private and global karma as a book to soul growth… each person is a single strand of a larger web of form and consciousness whose immense complexity sustains a planetary crucible offering an enormous variety of expression and potential for growth.” (Pg. 225)

This book may appeal to people with ‘New Age’ beliefs.
