Be part of the disease.... Or be part of the Cure. For fans of The Hunger Games, Divergent, and The Selection.
Reading this book was like watching a movie. The writing style was great and I absolutely loved the story line even though dystopian is more out of my comfort zone. I loved the main character and everything that happens is so cool. I have been guessing at what is going to happen and it is so exciting when I'm right. As soon as I finished book 1, I went on my kindle and purchased the entire series. I'm beyond invested!
This book lacked character development, the author built us two characters to be seen as Ashen’s “friends” then dumped them as soon as the romance picked up. Like come on. I also feel like the plot was everywhere sort of like the author was coming up with it all as they went. Outlines people outlines. I wanted to enjoy this book, I just found it hard to when everything was being throw at me instead of giving me hints and fun little things to pick up on and piece together. Will not be reading the other books.
I liked this… I felt like it has a lot of similarities to the Hunger Games, especially in the beginning. However, there was still enough originality to keep my interest. I want to read the second book for sure.
I enjoyed this book and how it was left on a cliff hanger. It gave hunger game vibes but still with originality. I wish there were more for the friends that were made in the book and knowing what happened to the faceless person in the hold.
